Danny was becoming more and more worried as he continued to search for the red head. He couldn't find her anywhere. Biting his lip, he glanced down at clear water. There he saw her. Relief flooded through him as he took a giant breath before he dove back under, hoping that he wasn't to late.
As he swam closer, the blonde could see that she was failing her arms around. She probably wasn't the most graceful swimmer, but luckily for both of them, he was a pretty good swimmer, if he should say so. The problem was that Layla was failing so much, he couldn't get close enough with out getting hit. Mentally sighing, he took the risk at wrapped both arms around the girls torso. Her right arm had hit the same mark where his cheek was hit earlier, causing it to sting again. Danny winced as he pulled them both to the surface.
Gasping for breath, Danny resurfaced, Layla in his arms. He pushed the pair to the edge of the lake, throwing Layla up first. He layed the girl down on the ground, leaning over her a little. His chest was wet and his blonde hair was soaked and was hanging over his eyes. Pushing his hair out of the way, Danny observed the red head. Luckily, her dress wasn't that wet, or else it would've been awkward for them both. She was breathing slowly, more relief coming to him. "Hey, hey, hey Layla, you ok?" He asked, shaking her slightly.
