Hiding in the forrest

Ryan sat leaning against a tree, sword resting on his lap. How would we know where to meet? He thought, there are many different entrances into the forest, how would I know where he would show up? He hears some familiar noise behind him, metal against metal. Like pots and pans, or battle armor. Ryan leaned around the tree and saw Blake walk over and duck into a hiding spot.

He scrambled to his feet, pausing to rub his bad knees then worked his way closer to Blake's hiding spot. Ryan stopped about 10 feet away. His foot found a small rock and his mind made a brilliant plan. He picked it up and lobbed it towards the hiding spot.

"Come out, Blake! I know you are in there." He yelled.

Blake emerges from his hiding spot, says something, then shoots a blast of fire at Ryan. He hit the deck to avoid getting third degree burns, a experience which he hopes to never to go through again. Ryan gets a mouthful of dirt but it is still better than burns.

He stands back up, brushing of his shirt, "That wasn't very nice, you could of hurt me." Ryan made sure to say those last word with sarcasm.

Blake shot another flame blast which hit Ryan in the left shoulder. He did a 360 then fell over. The fire burned through his shirt and burned his flesh. Ryan was lucky he spun, a direct hit probably would of made his arm useless.

Ryan pushed himself up only using his right hand. Blake might be what he would consider a friend (very loose term right now) but he was still angry, "What is Hades?! Are trying to kill me or something?"

ooc: I'm just going to point out now, Country, that you can't decide where your character's attack landed because that's power-play.

A burning smell reached the boy's nostrils that made him gag. He turned his head and saw that his shirt was still on fire. Ryan quickly batted it down only to reminded of the charred flesh the fire had left. He grit his teeth, counted to ten, and turned to Blake.

"I didn't think we were fighting," He mumbled out. Ryan took another deep breath, "I think I might head back to my cabin and try to heal this burn."

"Well I am not a training dummy." Ryan said, obviously aggravated. The shoulder really stung. He had some not nice words to Blake, but held his tongue. Rule number one he learned at Camp: Try not to make enemies. After he witnessed the rivalry between Percy and the Ares cabin, he wanted to avoid something like that.

"Sorry I din't mean for it to actually hit"I siad

"I'm going to go back to my cabin to get this taken care of," Ryan told Blake, "It was nice meeting you." He turned around and walked out of the forest.
