Dez firmly took it, smiling, when he frowned slightly, remembering something else he meant to tell him.
"Dorian will probably want to ask you about something. Now's not the time, but just keep that in mind," he informed Shrike before letting go of his hand and turning back to his fiancé. "Sure is, honey. Shall we get going?"

"We should, i'd like to have some time to ourselves later to unwind." Skylar smiled at him softly. "See you both soon." With that she waited for Dez to say his goodbyes to them and then she would follow him out.
