Charlotte walked out of the trees and into the clearing, which had a merry creek in the centerfield. She had left Laurie back at her cabin, since her puppy had recently developed a habit for chasing anything that moved. Including humans. Based on the amount of monster hunters, she had decided that walking her dog would be a bad idea. Honestly, it was getting to the point where she'd have to go out at night.

Charlotte waved in the general direction of the voice, which belonged to a girl standing quietly by the creek. "Hey." She said, ignoring the floating colours of woodland sounds. So far, they were not marred with the sounds of screams or other monster noises.

Charlotte cleared her throat and decided that no one was asking her name. She took matters into her own hands, and introduced herself. "And I am Charlotte, daughter of Iris. Thank you for asking." She said, a bit harshly.

She leaned up against the tree, idly fingering her bow, which she now always carried with her. She was thinking of getting an enchanted one so she wouldn't have to rely on her rusty exaggerated out in the mortal world.

Years of surviving random monster attacks had led to Charlotte being very good at hearing potential dangers. She drew an arrow from her quiver very slowly, and notched it in her bow. She glanced towards the long grass, still casually leaning against the tree.

Owing! Charlotte's arrow flew through the air and into the grass. There was a moment of silence before there was more rustling, this time a good bit louder. Charlotte notched another arrow.
