I shrug when Xena leaves and look back at Amber. I move the hair out of my face with a little struggle and start examining my injuries. Still fiery red in places, but no longer showing the charred flesh. It feels nice, too. I'm no longing burning but cooling. I still feel a bit weak however. I sit up once again and tighten my jaw. At least I can sit up now. I finally get a full view of Amber and smile sheepishly with scarlet cheeks. Of course, I say something intelligent at my first full view. "Uh... Um.."
