Harvey walked into the forest and looked around. What a strange place.... he thought, scared. He had ventured into the lighter parts of the forest before, but this..... The branches overlapped each other in a way that let in almost no light at all. Harvey continued walking, looking or things he had never seen before, like bugs or weird rocks, stuff that would make people say, "Dang, that's cool!" If he got out alive.

Since it was the birthday of one of my cabin mates and almost half the camp had gathered in the cabin, I had decided to go for a walk in order to avoid the people and their curiosity. Letting my hair down to hide my face and wearing a long sleeved black dress that reached the tips of my shoes, I wandered around camp.ooking up, I found myseld in a foreign place that looked a lot like a forest. But not the friendly kind of one in fairy tales; no, this one was dark, dangerous and hostile. I looked behind me, but I couldn't find my way back to camp. Trembling and shivering, I gulped and walked further into the strange area

Harvey continued walking and when he decided her gone far enough, he found a tree with Amy handholds and low branches and started climbing to the top. About halfway up, he noticed something. A girl was slowly walking through the dark in bright yellow clothes;very easy to spot. Harvey crawled onto another tree then another and another with ease, thanks to the overlapping branches, until he was directly above the strange girl. He spiraled down the tree with ease until he was right behind her. "Hello! I'm Harvey!" He said rather loudly.

I screamed and jumped as far away from the person as possible. Insticts took over and I found myself curled into a ball, my hands raised to cover my head."Please don't hurt me"I begged the person and closed my eyes tightly, waiting for what was to come next.

BIC: Harvey looked confused. "Huh? Why would I hurt you? I doubt I could, I'm only 5 years old." He said and held out his hand. "Let's try that again. Hello! I'm Harvey, son of Hecate! Who are you?" He asked, trying again.

I looked up shyly and saw that it was indeed a five year old. I sat up and gave him a small smile."Uh, s-sorry about that. I-I'm Layla"I answered, stammering like a fool, but avoided shaking his hand. That should do

Harvey took his hand back. "Sorry for scaring you back there. What are you doing in the deadly forest?" He asked curiously.

"I-it's alright. I'm k-kinda lost he-ere"I admitted and slowly stood back up."I'm sorry for screm-ming"

BIC: "Yeah, so am I! That's the fun part about it!" He said. "It's fine, a lot of people scream around me for some reason." He said matter-of-factly.

"You don't know the way out of here either?!"I yelled in panick before composing myself."Uh, sorry ag-gain. I-I just rhought you'd kn-now the way."I smiled again at the cute, little person."Do you sc-care them all by sud-ddenly appearing behind th-hem?"

Harvey grinned. "I'm a 5 year old. Don't expect me to memorize maps unless I'm an Athena kid." He joked. "Either that or hammers flying around or something." He answered and demonstrated as he flung his hands up in the air, sending a large stick flying through the trees and out of the forest. "Wait for it, wait for it-" he said them heard the scream of terror. "Yup. That's why." He said and brushed his hands on his blue jeans.

I let out a small giggle; the kid was adorable. He reminded me of my little brothe... Who was dead by now. I sighed wrapping my arms around my body in despair."Well... How are we getting out of here?"I asked, trying to change the subject

"We walk." He said. "And we rely on Stella." He said, pointing at the sky as a brilliant flash of light outlined a constellation.
OOC: I've worked Stella into about 50% of all my rps, why not work her into this one XD

"Who... Who's Stella?"I asked confused

BIC: Harvey smiled. "Only the last Asteria on America." He said as another flash of light was seen. "She outlines constellations for people, to see where certain ones are and what they look like. I've seen them before. Haven't you?" He asked. "You can see them every night except for the Fourth of July, because of all the fireworks."

"N-no..."I admitted shyly. Here he was, a five year old knowing more than me. Well, that how life is nowadays. I smiled and scratched the back of my neck."Which way are we going?"

Harvey looked at the sky again and just barely saw the outline of Ursa Major. "That way" he said, pointing the direction he was pretty sure was north. "That'll bring us back to where the cabins are......I'm pretty sure." He added after a short pause.

I giggled and ruffled the boy's hair. "Lead the way then, Colombus"

Harvey smiled. "Ok!" He said and started to lead the way through the dark forest.
~Time skip~
An hour later, Harvey still hadn't gotten out of the forest.
OOC: simple as that.

"Uh... Harvey? Are you s-sure you know where we are going?"I asked hesitantly

Harvey frowned. "I thought I did." He said then had an idea he should've had 64 minutes ago. "Wait! We can climb a tree!" He said and started to climb the nearest tree there was, and in no time found himself at the top, looking at-
Trees. Hundreds of thousands of millions of trees. No camp. "Uh, you might want to come see this." Harvey called down.

"I-I can't. Girls are not meant to climb"I reminded the kid and looked down nervously."What are you seeing anyway?"

"Girls aren't meant to climb??? How sexist is that??" He asked but then said, "Nothing. Trees. The sky. But nothing else. Not even stars. I don't think we're at camp half blood anymore. I've walked Afros the forest in an hour. We.....we might not even be in reality." He said then decided to test the theory by throwing himself off the tree. Now, some people might think this was stupid, but right before Harvey hit the ground he woke up.

OOC: Uh... Huh?

OOC: they were asleep. Maybe like a Hypnos spell or something metered their dreams. Who knows. *shrug
