Shot Through The Heart (PRIVATE)

Demetrius walked along the beach arm in arm with Alice. He had just gotten her to calm down a little and she was having a good time watching the small crabs and the water on the shore line. After the day he had had, he was glad to have someone like Alice there. No matter how bad things seemed for him she always made them less bad. The two stopped on the sand and Dem drew Alice into his strong arms, placing a kiss on the top of her blonde hair. The daughter of Mania smiled and let go before motioning for Demetrius to stay there while she walked towards the cabins.

Narcissus shuffled his feet through the sands of the beach as he looked at the ocean. Memories started to flow back when he and Demetrius had thier first moment. He turned and saw his ex with the Alice girl. "No.."He began to walk backwards, away from them.

Dem stood on the beach facing out over the water and thought back to when he and Narcissus were here for the first time. It was sad to think that he had bled for the son of Aphrodite but he couldn't risk getting emotionally hurt, those wounds wouldn't be fixed with herbs. Technically you could but that was besides the point. Running a hand through his hair, Dem heard a faint sound behind him he turned and saw Narcissus, who looked rather shocked. Giving a friendly nod he looked at the boy as Alice came back with her violin and his guitar, not saying a word still but clearly aware of Narcissus' presence.She's not gonna bite you Narcissus. You can come closer.Dem said, taking his guitar from Alice as the girl made a playful bite at him, causing the son of Apollo to chuckle.

He looked between Demetrius and Alice, frowning some. "I don't want to be around you. I don't want to think about you, okay!" Narcissus shouted, rubbing his temples. He turned his back from him and headed toward the ocean, tears falling from his face as memories of the two of them started to flow back.

Dem shrugged and looked at Alice who was giving a confused look.Ready Little? He asked . As the blonde nodded the both of them began playing a cover of Secrets and the music just flowed. With Alice on her electric violin and Demetrius on his Acoustic guitar, the two listened as the music carried through camp.

Narcissus cursed and dug his toes in the sand, staring at the oceans as it kissed the earth. The son of Aphrodite heard the music that was created by both his ex boy friend and Alice. A tear rolled down his face, looking toward Demetrius, hoping to make eye contact with him. When they finally did, another tear rolled down his cheek. He mouthed the words, "Take me back..."

Dem didn't do anything as Narcissus mouthed the words. Actions spoke louder than anything anyone could say ever. He and Alice played louder as the moon rose high into the night. Rabid and Bella ran onto the beach, the silly rabbit on the back of Dem's dog, and they both sat at the side of the two demigods, watching as the beautiful music continued.

His heart cracked as Demetrius ignored his cry for help. Tears started to flow as he slowly walked toward them, stuffing his hands in his pockets. Narcissus sat on his knees in front of Dem like a puppy without a owner. The demigod tired his best to sing along with the song, not taking his eyes off of his ex.

Dem ignored Narcissus and watched Alice as her eyes closed and she swayed to the music in the night. She looked beautiful but he knew she had her eyes on Evander. Narcissus probably didn't know, considering Alice was a flirt to a lot of people, but that didn't stop him from playing the hard to get card. Dem sang in perfect tune to the song as Alice let her angelic voice blend with his, carrying over the water with their mix of music.

Narcissus heart melt more as Demetrius continued to sing. He looked between Alice and his ex, coming to the conclusion that they might have been secretly dating. He got up and walked away from the two of them before getting up and heading down shore of the beach, tears continuing to fall from his eyes.

The duo finished playing and smiled at each other. Alice told Dem he was super good at playing guitar and Dem replied with a polite thank you. After sharing compliments they went into another song, this time it was Hey Sould Sister. Demetrius sang along and matched pitch beautifully as Alice grinned and supplied the wonderful cooling accompaniment.

Narcissus wiped a tear from his face and say down on the sandy beach, staring down into the sunset. He felt horrible and lost without Demitrius. He flipped his hair out of his face and stared out over the ocean.

Genevieve, daughter of Hestia came to the beach after hearing the beautiful melody that came from it. She walked passed Narcissus, smiling at him. "Hey, Dashing! How are you?" She asked in a chipper mood. Her harb was snuggly placed underneath her armpit.

The demigod looked toward her and gave her a slight smile. "Hey there, beautiful. I'm doing okay, and you?"

"I'm great actually! I came to the beach because I wanted to join in with the people playing music." Gene explained.

He nodded slowly. "Oh, okay then. I'll talk to you later."

Genevieve waved goodbye before going over to the two playing and singing.

Dem noticed the girl as did Alice. Seeing as she wasn't singing, Alice spoke for the both of them.I like your harp. Join in, we could always use more music.The daughter of Mania said, her eyes sparkling as she went back to singing and playing with Demetrius.

"Oh thanks!" She giggled a bit and pulled up a chair for her to sit in as she played the harb. Singing along, her voice filled the area around them. Genevieve's voice gave the demigods a sense of comfort and safety.

With everyone singing and having a good time Alice forgot about the Maniae and Dem forgot about Narcissus for that moment. Everything was perfect. The moon shinning overhead, the waves crashing softly on the shore, and music filling the air through camp. Nothing could possibly get better.
