Prom 2015 Committee meeting

Biting my lip in confusion concering if I should knock or not on the door since the keys were in the lock, I decided on just turning the door knob and pushing it slightly open. Poking my head inside, I saw another girl in the room, focused on the metalic device in her lap. Not wishing to interrupt, I slithered in the room quietly and took a seat at a corner, as far away from the others as possible. I was forced to come here, by my cabin leader and also Chiron, both of whom worried for my health. They said I spent too much time alone and that it caused all the attempts of my integration into this modern society to fail. So they made me come here and socialise with the other campers. But people were dangerous, especially males. I had no choice though. Thus I found myself fidgeting in my seat in an almost empty conference room.

Kane walked, no, strutted into the room, smiling like a cat who ate a canary. He loved parties, and planning? Well, he liked that well enough. He was good at supplying alcohol, but he also did lights and sound rigging for things, and was pretty decent at making props.

The guy noticed three other teens. Girls. One was his half-sister, Maddy, one was Sable, and the third he didn't know. "Hello, hello, you most beautiful ladies. What's up? We ready to get the party started?" He shot a look over to Seymour, the reanimated leopard head and nodded politely to him. "Seymour."

Feeling uncomfortable in the slowly filling with people room and the loud voices around, I huddled more into myself and steered my gaze on the ground, uttering a brief "Hi" before focusing on the notepad in front of me. I couldn't wait to get this over with and go back at the stables, where it was always nice and quiet except for the friendly and peaceful horses

Kane gave Maddy a hug, then laughed she she started talking about the party. Yes, this was what Dionysus kids were born for. "Not big on comic books myself. Maybe we could do a people from history? Or just a historical something. I could come as a pirate. A pirate of Penzance! Or a very model of a modern major general." He said, offering a different theme suggestion. Of course rife with musical references.

"Jack Sparrow wasn't an actual historical figure. And pirates were mostly dirty, old psychos. So I don't think you would like to dress up as one"I raised my voice slightly to be heard over the noise in the room. I hated to interrupt but they were talking about pirates so lightly and they knew nothing. Nothing of the cruelty in their eyes as they slayed innocent women holding their newborn babies in their arms, nothing of the shameless actions they did, nothing of the corruption that ruled when they were near

Billy walked in and put his head down. Great more people to find out who is mother is and hate him. He rolled his eyes at that though. He took a seat away from everyone so no conflict would arise. "Hey" he said with his head down.

Kane looked over at the new comer. Big ears, dark hair. Didn't know him. "Hey, look, more testosterone. I'm not completely outnumbered in here. Hey, friend, mind telling this young lady," He pointed to Layla in the corner, "to loosen up a little. She's acting like we bite. And I don't. At least not without permission."

The son of Aphrodite, Narcissus Bastion walked into the prom committee meeting with a smile on his lips. "Now, now. We can't start the meeting without yours truly."  The well tanned demigod wore a pink Ralph Lauren shirt that hugged his torso with white shorts that stopped just above his knees. He had on a pair of tan flip-flops on his feet along with a gold ankle bracelet on his left foot. A pair of Michael Kors sunglasses sat on the top of his dirty blonde hair. The necklace that Demetrius gave him before he left  for the United Kingdom. It was times like this when he wished he was still here.

Narcissus sat down in a chair beside Maddy, took his sunglasses off placed it on the table and flipped his hair to the side. "What's the theme this year's party, m'amores?" He asked, scanning the room. He knew a few of the demigods in there. Maddy and Kane he knew from the hella parties they threw in their cabin and the others he just knew from seeing them around the camp.

Billy watched as the child of Aphrodite walked in. It was easy to know he was her son. He didn't really like Aphrodite but this guy looks like he is friendly.

I walked in I was extremely tired having jusy come back to camp after a brief holiday with bailey.
I scanned the room seeing a large group of people and walked over to them.
Last time prom had been on nothing much had really occurred.
The theme this time was a cool one none the less but would be hard to organise so everyone was happy and their was no Marvel vs DC.

As he looked around he realized everyone talking. If they new who is mother was they would kick him out. "hey" he said very quickly and quietly so no one would notice. He hoped the theme would be super hero so her could dress up as Wolverine with claws made of ice.

"Man, I don't know about black tie. We got people from all sorts of socioeconomic backgrounds, and no real places to rent a tux here at camp. Might be better to go for something a little less expensive." Kane suggested, running his hand through his hair. "Also, I'm allergic to cummerbunds."

"I was thinking about if its a super hero theme I could make an ice sculpture of like a big S with super heroes around it.." he realized everyone was looking at him. "Sorry did I interrupt?"

I raised my head a bit and looked at the girl who spoke curiously before answering in a timid voice."I-If the theme is travelling t-through time, the ball r-room could be seperated in parts. I-If they are two, one could be d-decorated like an o-original ball room and the other like a s-space one?"I suggested and ducked a bit to hide behind my hair in embarrassment
