Jack escaped from the infirmary. After that last event on the beach, when Alice'd defeated him, he'd sustained himself from the recently patched gash on his chest. It still hurts. He was lucky to have been found by the satyrs, otherwise lack of energy and blood loss would've allowed Thanatos complete access to deprive him of his soul. Jack grabbed the flaming machete, which after a while, he decided to call 'Clarent'. The Sword of Fire.

Today he wore a black and red t-shirt that read 'I Will SNAP your Neck!', his dark jeans matched the shirt. His only part of the outfit that was bright were the Reeboks, brand new and pure white. Clarent was sheathed and strapped to his back, with a minor detail to shield Clarent's ruby. If someone used it he would burst into flames right on the spot. He wore his armor, just in case something else like the battle on the beach would ensue and he would be safer in a confrontation.

Travelling into the southern section of the woods, he took a moment to enjoy the environment. Peace engulfed everything. He looked forward to enjoying this without being rudely interrupted.

Chiara sat on a stone next to a whispering torrent. Her chin on her fist, she was deep in thought. Or rather, deep in memory. This was the spot where it had happened, almost a month ago now. She replayed the dialogue in her head for the millionth time, her eyes closed to picture the scene again. Everything, from the darkness to his face and the sound of his voice. What he had said. What he had asked her to do. I've tried! But it wasn't easy. There was still this angry, aching, miserable bruise inside her chest that simply wouldn't heal. With time, it had even gotten… bitter? Was that the word? A branch snapping made her look up, her hand traveling to her sword.

But no, it was simply another camper. Annoyed at being disturbed, Chiara stood up. The guy had walked in on her thinking moment and she wasn't happy about that. He didn't seem to have spotted her yet so she picked up a stone and threw it at him. "Sup, princess? Out for a little afternoon stroll?"

Jack trekked until he felt something rough like a stone hit him on his head. The demigod spun and fixed his eyes on the suspect who was responsible for abruptly interrupting his stroll. Red haired, somewhat built, or muscular. There was a 79,43% chance this was one of the Ares kids, whilst the 20,57% chance left was that she was simply playing tough. "Ugh", he sighed in an annoyed manner. "Yes I am. Did I step on your moment?" he replied sarcastically, simultaneously moving closer?

"My moment? I'm just hunting monsters," she said, jerking her thumb at the bow on her shoulder. "Hold on, aren't you that Deimos chap?" she sneered. "Jack something? Wittle minor demigod, how cute."

Jack's rage meter has notched up to 1. Yippie!

"F-ck you. There's nothing wrong with being a minor god's son, you racist piece of sh!t." he replied angrily, adding in cusses. Oh no, he thought, here we go again. Jack moved himself slowly in a combat stance should a fight break out.

"Racist is it?" Chiara laughed again. Even if she did tease her North-African friends back home, she wasn't racist in the slightest. She just teased all her friends. "Who are you even, which sh!thole did you crawl out of?"

Jack's rage level shot up to notch 7,2 instantaneously. Yippie!

"Ah, which sh-thole did I crawl out from? WHY DON'T YOU GO BACK TO YOUR OWN SH#THOLE AND ASK THE WH*RE WHO GAVE BIRTH TO YOU." Jack yelled, clearly offended. He was now officially face to face with her. Then he continued. "Why would I even bother? Go f-ck yourself." he said in a rude way.

OOC: Your wish is my command

BIC: He insulted her mother, no biggie. Chiara did so herself -- at least she would if she still talked to her. She didn't like him insulting her home, but his reactions were too entertaining. "What's wrong, McFly?  You chicken?" she sneered, taking a step forward.

She quoted Back to the Future, and he exploded

Halfway into the pathway, he spun around. Now he looked maddened. His eyes narrowed, whilst his hand grabbed the hilt of the machete and unsheathed it. But he didn't trigger it's flaming effects.

"NOBODY. CALLS ME. CHICKEN!" he yelled in Greek.

Then Jack poured his energy into his powers, and directed it straight at her. Yep, the events on the beach and Back to the Future are looping.

The earth gave a jolt and Chiara staggered. Underneath her, right between her feet, a fissure appeared, webbing the ground. "OH SHT," she shouted and scrambled away as the earth ripped open, the canyons glowing with lava.

Jack poured even more energy into his "Terrokinesis". He wanted to make it as horrifying as possible. Right now he saw what she was seeing: the world imploding and collapsing around her and everything began to fall down the opening fissures.

Then he decided to throw more and more monsters into the vision. A tremendous number.

Chiara looked for the other kid, where was he? "GET OUT OF HERE," she shouted, but got no reply. With a horrified expression, she looked at the canyons, who were still getting larger, engulfing trees and bushes alike. Had he fallen in one of them?

And she was alone on her own piece of ground, the space around her collapsing into the bubbling lava, the heat so intense she felt like her skin was burning off her face. The air turned red. Suddenly she caught sight of something -- an oily fish back slipping away in the glowing melt, several meters long. Alright. That she could fight. Sliding her sword out of its sheath, she crouched and waited for the attack whilst doing her best to keep her balance on the trembling ground. Suddenly her vision blurred and changed -- she was still in the forest but everything was back to normal. The trees were rising above her, the torrent was flowing, and the kid was standing there looking very much pissed off. Chiara lowered her sword. "What the fck?" she asked. Briefly her vision flashed back to the lava apocalypse before settling again for the normal forest. She put her hands on her eyes. "What the bloody Hades is wrong with me!"

"It's what you get." he replied in Greek. Ah, so she was oblivious about him pouring the visions into her. "Nobody calls me chicken!" Jack roared angrily. Jack was ready for a fight should it ensue.

Jack wanted to pour more, but his power depleted. Everything around her would flash back to normal by now.

Chiara got a few more flashes, residual feelings of vertigo and nausea, but several moments later all was back to normal. She was panting, sweating, her sword still in her hand.

"You did this?" she growled. "Fcking Deimos kids. Yeah right. I insult you, you pull out your power, and you still wanna tell me you ain't a wimp? You must be kidding."

"Grr." Jack growled, then his fingers clicked the ruby. The fire burst on the blade, fiery flames. "Wimp? WIMP? Why don't you come at me first, you piece of sh-t?" he taunted back angrily.

"You wanna go, c*cksucker?" She threw her sword aside and charged him, throwing punches and kicks at the kid with rage. She was so angry, not only because she had fallen for his stupid illusions but also just for being there and having interrupted her moment. She came here so often it kind of felt like her spot, the spot that held this special bond, this memory. And this kid showed up with a sword and an ego and thought he could just stroll around like a goddamn tourist.

"Yeah I do." Jack shrugged, tossing his flaming machete aside on a rock. Then he lunged at the Ares kid, his fists clenched. He poured his strength into the punch, then threw punches straight for her face whilst ducking her attacks and receiving even more and more. She was obviously faster than him, and a lot. They were both related to Ares. But that made a whole lot of difference
