Life Before CHB*: Raiden was raised by only his mother in Tokyo, Japan. His mother worked as a weather woman to support her small family. Soon, she made enough money to move to the USA, Florida to be exact. While they were there, monster attacks became more frequent---which worried Nadya much after Raiden had an accident with a hydra and lost his sight. She knew the monsters' coming was Raiden's fault, however, and told him to get out because he was "cursed". So Raiden lived on his own until he was sixteen and wondered upon Camp Halfblood.
RP Example*: Mother told me to go away, so I did. I ran far, far away from her and never looked back. I was only a danger to her; I knew she didn't want me. Little did I know that drastic choice and her harsh words would send her into a dark abyss no one can excape. She started drinking while I was gone, smoking, things that I didn't even knew existed. But that's life. It all can be over in a heartbeat.

Yes, one bolt per time. The bolt would send a small shock through a human, almost like a joy buzzer.

Mhm, I see. How many bolts would it take to knock somebody out, and how long does he have to wait between bolts?

4 bolts to knock someone out (which he doesn't do often) and it takes four hours for each bolt to fully recharge.

Life Before CHB*: Sarai's family was very into Hinduism, thus very religious. The family was shamed when Sarai's mother, Padna, was caught having an affair with Zelos, birthing Sarai. All this time as Sarai grew, she was wondering why she was such an outcast. This caused her to get bitter. Why does everyone not like me if I don't even know them?! She finally ran away from home around 11. She was then caught by a kidnapper in Southern Africa who sold her away as a slave. She traveled around Africa this way, until she could not take it anymore. She suddenly went what others would call "mad". She killed half of the village before she regained her senses. She looked at the slaughter and ran far, far away. She boarded a boat and sailed to South America, where she lived a short term as an Amazon. She then made it to Mexico and lived as a child merchant, selling the beads she made herself. She crossed the border and went to Texas, traveling upward through North America. Eventually she was in New York as a vendor. A satyr sensed her there and lead her to Camp Halfblood before dying on the hill to a giant scorpion.
RP Example*: I fiddled with the rope around my wrists.
"Give it up already, Sarai." Usiv mumbled. He was so small and sick, and my bestfriend.
"I won't give up until I can get both of us out of here." I growled, breaking a nail.
"We're going to die here," Usiv cried, curling up into a ball as he starved to death slowly. I shook my head and glared daggers at him.
"Listen to me. We're going to be fi---" That's when the Big Man came in. He wouldn't tell us his name, but he had us call him Mufasa. He raised his hand and slapped me, yelling in my face. All I did was nod and say "I'm sorry". He picked me up by the rope on my wrists and tossed me to a corner. Mufasa then turned to Usiv and started yelling at him. I tried to say something, I truly did! But my vision was too blurry. The Big Man balled his fists and....and started....hitting Usiv until he didn't move anymore. I cried and screamed for him. "You monster!" I yelled at Mufasa. He turned to me with a smug smile.
"What're you going to do, little girl?" He raised his hands to beat me, but then I blacked out. I woke on a roof, standing and looking over the scattered bodies on the streets. What happened? I looked at my hands, covered in blood, and my legs. Also coated in blood. I screamed and ran away. Far, far away.
