"Five? It's a deal," She said, chuckling at the thought of her doing that.

Re: Browsing books
Astrid walked into the library and began looking through the books. As she ran her hand along the spines, a shock went through her fingers. She gave a yelp and drew her hand back, knocking the book that had caused the reaction onto the ground. Astrid bent down and examined the book. It was thicker than a dictionary and bound with old black leather that was cracking on the buckle that held the cover shut. There was a title embossed in gold on the front, but it was in an oranate script that gave Astrid headaches just looking at it. Cautiously she picked up the book. It seemed to pulse in her hands. Astrid turned it over, but there was no barcode. It didn't seem to be a library book at all.
That's right. Take it. the demon in her head urged. This time, Astrid was inclined to agree with the demon. She liked the book for some reason she couldn't comprehend. Silently, she slipped it in her bag and walked out of the library.

Re: Browsing books
I walked into the library, the last place I wanted to be, but the most quiet. Ever sinse the Paris trip, I litterly hate some people now. I sat down and picked up a book that had someting to do with love.

Re: Browsing books
Aura noticed someone sitting at a table, reading silently. She looked at the book in her hand and shrugged. She walked up to the table, silent as ever, and coughed quietly. "Is this seat taken?" She asked, smiling. She was hoping her eyes wouldn't scare the girl into leaving, she really wanted to try and make friends here.

"Thank you." She smiled. "My name's Aura, what's yours?" She winced inwardly at her terrible attempt at social interaction.

I closed my book, I wasn't really interested in it anyway, "Darcy, Darcy Woods,"

She smiled, biting the inside of her cheek. "Thank you," she blushed, "I like your hair. It looks nice."

Re: Browsing books
I walk into the library and head straight to the sports section. I pick up a book on the history of the Olympics, the most successful athlletes of all time, how to organise and hold your own sports tournament, the rules for hockey, pop lacrosse, field lacrosse, tennis, volleyball, football, american football, rugby and cycling. I walk along to the shelf with the boooks about chess and pick up a book on tactics in the game. I check out the books and walk out, struggling to carry all these books, with my hockey stick banging against my leg in it's holster.

Gwen walked into the library and headed straight for the stacks. She lingered a while in the fiction section, but nothing really caught her eye. Eventually, she made her way over to the film books. She perused a few biographies of Stanley Kubrick, then decided on a book about Wes Anderson. Happy with her choice, Gwen sat down in a corner to read.

Re: Browsing books
Blazer was currently writing in a journal about a few riddles he was currently solving, it was probably the only curricular activity he was good at since he hated just about every other subject. He could observe a scene accurately and depict what was happening in dialog, as well as searching for clues and create a hypothesis. It was a gleeful activity he frequently did since he was quite the Sherlock, so he was currently studying to become a professional detective when he grew up.

Re: Browsing books
Gwen noticed a boy next to her scrawling in a journal. He seemed to be enjoying himself, judging by his pleased expression. The sound of pencil on paper was getting louder as he wrote faster. It bothered Gwen and she gave a disapproving "Hmpf." before going back to her book.

Re: Browsing books
Blazer tapped his pencil against his chin, thinking of how to solve this next riddle exactly, it was tricky and almost contrary as to how to solve it, so it was tough even for him. He began to write again, having figured it out after a few minutes of concentration and moved on to the next one. He grew bored of his trivial training and shut his book, placing it in his satchel as he left the library and headed to the forest.

Re: Browsing books
Gwen hadn't had the best of days. First, the line to the Hermes cabin bathroom had been gigantic that morning. Then, she had come back to her room to find that someone had picked her lock and broken in. Whoever it was, they had scattered photo negatives she had been saving all over the floor, exposing them to the light. That had really pissed her off, so she had come to the library to calm down and read.
But now, this boy with his overly loud pencil scratchings had pushed her over the edge. Gwen slammed her book shut and stared pointedly at him, eyes wild with anger at the unfairness of it all.
When he didn't seem to get the message, she left.
