I slightly laugh, "Yeah, that was a short game, I don't know why she had to go all of a sudden," I said.

"Dang, did she go on a quest or something? J.D. also said she'd see us tomorrow, so you never know. I don't even know how you could find someone in a camp full of people," I said.

"Zach?" I say getting ready to ask who that is, but then think it's best not. "Err, nevermind," I say, not wanting to hit a bad topic.

OOC: Sorry for not posting sooner, was chatting in the chat box BECAUSE KASI IS IN THERE! :O
I walk over to him and sit down, "Machines? When did we start talking about machines?" I half laugh.
OOC: She's not there anymore... :/

Re: The Beach at Night
I laugh. "I just want to get my mind off of the whole incident. Since I'm a son of Hephaestus, I build stuff obviously. Like these fists here," I say pulling out two large celestial bronze fists with spikes. I put them on. "I also made a arrow volley tower, but some idiot destroyed it. Thus, I want to have a new idea for long range warfare."

Re: The Beach at Night
I watch him as he pulls out the celestial bronze fists with spikes. "Woah," I say backing away slightly, then come back to my normal position. "Well, that's impressive." I say. "Long range warfare?" I asked. I thought for a second.
"Well, you could get like a bow and arrow machine, where you could load the arrows into a slot, except it's like a turret, so you pull a trigger and an arrow come out, but you'll have like 50 arrows loaded. I'm sure you could make some wicked arrows, or borrow some from an Apollo kids, just a thought," I said.

Re: The Beach at Night
"That'd actually be backtracking from my tower. It was really quick and accurate, and operated by itself. The only thing was that it was unmoveable and needed to be prepared to work......I just need to find a way to make a tower that has a sensor so it will attack without wasting arrows...." I trail off.

Re: The Beach at Night
"Hmm, well," I think for a second. "I got something, but it's extremely complex, dangerous, almost unbuildable, and basically immovable, BUT it'd also be hard to get past. Do you still want to here my idea?" I asked.

"Sure, fire away. No pun intended," I say with a smile. I think of all the possible ideas he could say.

Re: The Beach at Night
"Ok, so you say you need a way to attack without using arrows. What you need is tripmines, the greek way. You load greek fire into containers and hide them in maybe grass or bushes all along your tower. You hook the greek fire up to the ground, so set like trip wires up all along the grass, so when the trip wire is activated, the container explodes and greek fire is released, burning anyone near, except you put those on all sides on whatever you're trying to guard. Also, for a bonus, if you want, whenever someone triggers the tripwire, you can hook the wire up to the tower, so when they trigger the wire, a turret fires about 5 arrows in tthat direction," I say thinking about all of that.
"Again, it's complex, basically immovable, and not 100% sure on an injure, it could kill someone. So what do you think?" I ask him.

Re: The Beach at Night
"I used the tower in Capture the Flag! I'm not going to murder a camper! Besides, what I said was I needed a way to have the arrow tower be able to shoot strategically when people are around, not that I don't want arrows. I said I don't want to waste arrows by firing them when nobody is around."

Re: The Beach at Night
"Well... my ideas aren't always going to be able to 'injure' someone. Besides, you won't commit the murder, the machine will. I also have another idea, have you ever heard of that 'Heartbeat Sensors' that the Marines use these days?" I ask him.

Re: The Beach at Night
"Yeah, we probably don't have the metals to make one of those." I think for another second. "Wait, why don't you just set some Apollo kids to guard. I mean, they can use bow and arrows good, why not just use them for Capture the Flag?" I ask.

Re: The Beach at Night
"Yeah, sure, slave the campers.....I have an idea. Maybe I could use a small lens to let the tower view the world. It could watch around and if I hit it, it will start shooting arrows at the enemy until they retreat. And maybe I could keep upgrading it as I get better, until it is basically unstoppable!" I say, my brain spewing thoughts a mile a minute

Re: The Beach at Night
"Ha," I say laughing. "Wonder what kind of technology you'd need for that to work. Maybe a sort of sensor, or some form of special hat that everyone on you're team would need to wear. I'm sure everyone would LOVE to have one of those hats, make them feel special.
OOC: Come on, you have to know where I was going with that. Hats
Also, I gtg, bye.
