I start thinking about Belle. I hate how she won't let me be with her. She doesn't realize how much she is hurting me inside. I don't even remember a 'Thank you.' today. I just want to scream as loud as I can. But I won't. I'll just keep myself bottled up.

I walked slowly to the water, wincing occasionally. I slipped off my shoes and sat down next to Kataro. I smiled at him. "What's up Kataro?" I looked out at the water. "Regret saving me yet?" I bit my lip. I sighed. "I don't know if I told you, but thank you. So much for saving me." I looked at his mechanical hand. "You gave up your hand, for me. You could have died." I looked down.

I looked up at Trev. At first I thought he was talking about my arm, and I felt myself tensing up at the memory. But when I noticed him looking at Kataro, I sighed, relieved.

I looked at Kataro, surprised at how plainly he put it. He had saved my life, and lost his hand in the process. For me. I stared back out at the water.

I looked at Kataro, seeing the hurt in his eyes. It tore at me, seeing him like that. I pulled my legs slowly into my chest and rested my chin on my knees, staring out at the water. I bit my lip, not knowing what to do any more than he did. I was lost, in a sense.
