Calden looked astonished- as if he'd never heard those words before. Back in his time it was all: sit down and shut up, boy. Or: I'll give you a flogging you won't ever forget, boy! He stared at her for a moment and choked out: "th-thank you!" He smiled at her.
He suddenly frowned and looked downcast. Biting his cheek he found he could barely look at her. "I don't want to sleep, because I have these t-terrible n-n-nightmares," he stuttered, forcing a laugh.

"It's no problem at all no need to thank me Calden." Sofia frowned "Don't look so sad, hey I can stay awake with you if you don't want to sleep. We can talk all night." she was happy Calden stumbled into her life.

"Actually Max carried us here. So you owe him a thank you when he wakes up." she laughed the idea of Max waking up to Calden still being here was funny. He is such an over protective wolf but Sofia loved him anyway. "Warming you up wasn't that hard." she blushed "I don't mind being a human pillow...for you anyway." There she goes again starting to like people she has just met.

He tore at his hair in self-loathing. "I did WHAT?!" He cried, sitting up. "Oh my gods... Oh my gods, Sofia, I am so so sorry," his brain immediately leapt to the worst possible conclusion. "I can't believe I came onto you like that? I am so sorry for being such a monster, oh gods I should just go before I do anything else terrible," he berated himself as he struggled to his feet.

"No!" Sofia reacted and pulled him back down. "You didn't come onto me you just fell asleep in my lap, not that it would be a problem if you did come onto me." That last part slipped out and her cheeks turned fifty shades of pink. "Please don't leave.." she said in a whimper.

Sofia kissed Calden on the cheek "You're welcome." She curled up next to him oh the sofa leaning her head on his shoulder "I don't catch colds." Sofia smiled and wrapped her arms around Calden.
