I flinched a little bit. "I had to fake my own death... Hazel what you said to me last week really got to me," I said, doubting that she'd believe me. "I was doing wrong. I-I quit the gang. They threatened to kill me. I knew that they would kill me, so I faked my own death. If they thought I was dead, thy they wouldn't have any reason to kill ms. I was going to tell you..." I hung my head in shame. "But I knew you'd be better off without me," i said and flinch bracing myself to be punched or screamed at.

My eyes went wide. I blushed, stunned, then kiss her back. Was this really happening? I felt sick and horribly guilty. I didn't deserve a friend like her. After all I've done and she's still by my side.

"You have nobody to blame but that gorgon's poison. Damnit I should've gotten the blood, from that thing. Both left and right." without realizing it, I put my hand by one of his wounds. Without thinking, I'm healing. I guess I just had so much practice I didn't have to think much to heal anymore.

I was so upset. I hugged Hazel. The guilt was overwhelming and I almost began to cry. "I-I am s-so s-sorry," I said quietly.

I hugged him back. "It's okay." his blood was all over me now, but I didn't care too much. "I should tell you some herbs for when you get hurt... Well let's start with this one, it's called agrimony. You can only find this one in the summer, and should harvest in at the end of the season. But you can take some and make some medicine. The stem of this plant is three to four feet long, and has small yellow flowers. The leaves are green above and silvery beneath. They'll be in dry weather. Use it as a skin wash; it will staunch the blood from the wound. You can find this stuff in New York, too." I sigh. "I'll just tell you more herbs at camp."

"They'll get infected. It's really no problem, I won't heal them. Just get some herbs to stop the bleeding and so they won't get infected, I'll wrap them up."
