"Nothing....I didn't say anything." I say nervously. I look down and hope she didn't figure out what I said. You just slipped a big secret, nice going stupid. I curse quietly and shake my head. I reach down and run my finger along the blade of my dagger. (Devin)

I look up. My eyes widen in fear "Uh...well uh one-hundred and two." I say "but six-hundred for my kind." I add quietly . I look over at my shoulder at the Empire State Building. "God of Wine." I tell her, I run a hand through my hair, knowing I took a big risk. (Devin)

I laugh and nod my head. I knew she was about to say demigod, but in. The mortal world, it could be very dangerous. "I'm as much of a monster as I am a girl." I say smiling "So who's Odyne the god of?" I ask. (Devin)

"Oh," I say "well at least your parent isn't a drunk" I say trying to cheer her up. (Devin)

"I wouldn't doubt it." I say smiling, "I avoid him at all costs usually, but wanna see something cool?" I ask eagerly wanting to show off my power (Devin)

I shake my head and concentrate. Finally, a vine pops out from the dirt and grows upwards toward me. I pick a grape off the vine."Want one, they're fresh off the vine?" I ask, making a weak attempt at a joke. (Devin)

I stumbled out of the cab. How it'd happened, I'll never know. But I was clearly drunk (don't ask me how, I'll never know), and a gun in my hand. It was the dead of night, the moon shining brightly. I listened to the sounds of the night, for a while. Then I put the barrel of the gun in my mouth. Not even flinching, I pulled the trigger and everything went red then black.

Unfortunately for me, it didn't kill me. Some young couple on a camping trip had spotted my, and put me in the back of their car and drove me to the hospital.

I rushed in following Demetrius "Demetrius!" I yelled and ran down a random street that looked quite ghetto. Three dark figures moved out of the shadows and grabbed me. "What-what are you doing?!" I screamed. After a week of being held captive in a dark disgusting basement that smelled of death I became mute and scared everytime I would hear the door open.

The couple returned to the park a few hours later to pack up they're stuff.

One of the men came down for the fifth time today "Aren't you satisfied?" she snapped "No" the man replied with a devlish smile "Not again" she said and punched him in the face and ran up the stairs and out of the house towards CHB.

I nod my head "I prefer keeping my limbs and don't like getting impaled unless I have to" I say smiling. I pick off another grape and let the vine sink back into the ground. I pop the grape into my mouth and lean back.

"WEll I most definetly am not a monster, and if I were, well I would't want to be speared by you" I say smirking. I look across the park and drift out into space. I shake my head quickly and whistle. All of the sudden a hawk comes swooping down and lands on my shoulder and jump a little. I look over at the hawk and creased my eyebrows.(Devin)

"Hello Devin, you called" I say into Devin's mind (Jacob)

I look over at her and chuckle, "Oh, this is Jacob, my pet Hawk." I say beaming at her. I pet Jacob and lift up my arm, indicating for Jacob to hop on it. I sigh heavily and and lean my head back, looking up at slowly moving clouds.

I hop onto his arm and nuzzle his neck softly. "I caught three rats today." I say .proudly.

"Names are not important, it's how the person acts but if you must know it is Devin" I say smirking. I stand up and briskly walk back towards camp.

I leap into the air and spread my wings out. I follow Devin out, cawwing occasionally, scaring the locals
