The water in Vesh's face was simply a small nuisance. He didn't let her go as he quickly shook the water off. He placed the tip of the knife on the top of the girl's arm and slowly slid along it.

I look at the lake. "Well, I guess I just don't like my heart geing broken." I look down. Now I'm not really looking at anything. I'm kind of zoned out, as if I was having a flashback. Jennifer flashes into my mind.

I screamed in pain,and I made a gallon of water come up and made it shoot at the boy with with a bit of pressure,probably enough to make him stumble back but not knock him down.

Vinyl can sense a sudden shift in the mood, and she starts to wonder if she did something wrong. She thinks about their conversation, but she didn't remember anything that seemed like it would particularly cause a shift in the mood. She sighs a bit and looks up at the stars. A line from a song suddenly pops into her head. 'You could be the star, you can shine so bright.' She bites her lip, wishing that was true for her, but is isn't, not by a long shot.

Vesh saw the water coming this time and made it shrink to about a quart of water, which consequently was headed for the girl's face instead. He went back to slicing her arm all the way down to her wrist.

Vinyl jumps at Alexander's voice. It wasn't something she was expecting, normally when there was a shift in the mood, nobody spoke. "Stars, I guess. I never really could get that constellation stuff, I only saw stars, same with shapes in the clouds. I just see them for what they are. I'm not really that good at seeing into things." 'I'm not really that good at anything except for messing things up and pushing people away...'

I look to see a girl screaming in pain. I swam towards her. I was already angry, and my arrows wouldn't help in the water, but I had to help.

I look up at the stars too. The birght stars reflect in my green eyes. "I always wanted to go up there," I say. I slip my fingers into the spaces between her fingers. "Space. It qwould just be so...peacful, I guess."

"It would be peaceful," Vinyl agrees. When she feels Alexander touches her hand, at first she wants to pull her hand away, but then decides against it. It feels kind of nice, she decides. A little hand holding never hurt anyone, anyways. "And very quiet, too. But it would also be very lonely."
