"That's nothing to be ashamed of," I say honestly. "Its a medical disorder, you can't help it, and I don't judge you for it. Its exactly the same sort of thing with my eyes, except people think that's cool, honestly I don't see how never being able to look upon somebody with your real eyes is cool."

I put my arm around Brooke's shoulder and lead her back towards the targets, stopping a fair distance away from the hay bails.

"Now, let's stop thinking about the medical, and start thinking about the practical," I say, getting my bow out.

"That's what I'm talking about," I then turn, notch 3 arrows in my bow, and fire them all horizontally, each one scoring a bulls eye on the three targets.

I take the star that I had in my hand, and throw it. It hit the target right in the bullsye, then in a small flash of light, it was gone, leaving only a little black mark where it had just been. "How's that for aim?" I ask him proudly.

For the first time in a couple of years, I smile. Sure I've smiled earlier, but they were fake smiles, for there was still sadness behind them. This smile was a happy smile. "I don't know if I can, but I will try to." I grab three ninja stars out of my pack, and take aim. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I throw them. One bulls eye. Two bulls eye. The third one missed though, hitting the outer ring of the target. "Well, I guess that is okay." I say, my smile now kinda broken.

"Three would've been better, but I guess two will do for now." I say, grinning."It's also a lot harder with ninja stars, because you have to throw them at different times. And let me tell you, that is very hard." I form another star in my hand, and throw it at the bulls eye on the third target. "There. Now we can say I got all three!"

"We should spar," Rave says, retrieving his arrows from the targets, and returning them to his quiver before putting my bow away, then he lodges the stars out of the targets also, and walks back over to Brooke, handing them over to her.

I run up to a clearing before the lake. I look back, hoping I didn't lose Thomas and Zane. I look around the lake area, searching for Rave. Maybe he would still be there. I spot him still down at the area where we were practicing our skills. "Rave!" I yell as I run up and tackle hug him.
