I had never fought a normal human, but it must not be much different than fighting a monster. I lunge at his stomach, hoping he didn't notice me strike, and will not have time to retaliate.

I do the math. I have just enough time to block it with my forearm, receiving a nasty cut above my wrist. I lunge for his neck.

I side-step his attack to my face. I launched myself backwards, then forwards, aiming my knife right at his hip. Momentum should do the trick to kill him if I can just stab him.

Mason: Too slow. I can't calulate that fast. Sirius catches me in the hip and I wince. I feel the warmth of the blood drip down my thigh and running through my pants. I smile at Sirius. "Lucky shot, Newbie." I slice at him with my knifes aimed at his shoulder.

I hear Mason's knifes slash through my shoulder. I wince in pain, but tough it out. Blood dripping down my chest from my shoulder, I take a step back, and aim a knife. I throw it, hoping my aim wasn't off.

Mason: Before I can defend myself, the knife catches the side of my throat and impales itselg in a tree behind me. I grip my throat in shock, trying to stop the blood flow. I look at Sirius pleadingly.

"Never underestimate me." I tell him. I rip my shirt, and wrap it around his neck, and take a step back. I throw another knife, which stabs his left arm, and impales into the tree. He was stuck now. I cut his wrists and let him stay there, slowly bleeding to death. "Who is the tough guy now?" I ask him with a cold smile.

I stare in shock, fear, anger. "Tell...Demetri and...Hadrian..." I choke, then cough up a river of blood. I stare at the sun, and that is the last thing I see. Everything fades to black and I die.

I pull out my knives, and put them back into my belt. I pick up Masons bloody body, and swim into the lake with it. Once out in the middle, I drop the body, letting it sink to the bottom, and swim away. Once back on shore, I book it out of there.

I wasn't mad with him, he was an exceptionally nice person. Maybe a best friend to me, since Vinyl disappeared in a mist of dreams and cigarettes. A cigarette, I needed one. I started looking for a pack on my customized bag while babbled a few words in answer. "I have my reasons. You can wonder what they are. There's a boy involved." I giggled like a teen, although I was a teen, and whoa.
