"Um, so where?" I ask, "Do you have a piano at your barracks? Or are you gonna play another instrument?" I felt so weird asking so many questions.

OOC: Zane is such an idiot xD

bic: "I don't know. And we're in the same barracks." I smile. "I might play something else, though."

I smile and stand up in one fluid movement, not making a sound. "Let's go." I agree and start walking ahead of him silently.

Ooc: Where do we post?

I walk behind her slowly, not wanting to seem too eager or anything.

OOC: I honestly don't know.

I sense him walking behind me and resist the urge to attack him like an angry jaguar. Not that I'm mad or anything. Just trying to control my defense mechanism.

Ooc: uhhh...new topic in New Rome?

I walked a bit faster and caught up to her, walking side by side. I felt slightly odd walking so close to her, so I move a little.

OOC: Yeah, you make the topic

'I...I don't want to talk about it...' Brooke says, her voice shaky and her eyes starting to tear up.

Brooke wipes all of the tears in her eyes, and recollects herself mentally. She lets out a sigh and cranes her head upwards to look at Percy's face. 'I...I used to get abused...a lot.' Once she said that small sentance, she sat down on a rock and held her head in her hands. She just wanted to end all of this. Percy would listen to her for a second, but afterwards he was more than likely to burst out laughing. Other kids had done that, so wouldn't he too?

OOC: Grrr, I need to remember to use 1st person for Percy

IC: I think about this, and suddenly feel disgusted at those who would do that to her.

"That... that must have been horrible... why did they do it?"

Rave sits on the rock next to Brooke and put his arm around her, trying to comfort her, he did love her after all.

'Because I was different. I have health issues that they made fun of me for. They liked to hurt me, see me in pain, hear me cry.' Brooke admits to Percy. Should she have lied? Should she had told hin a better story that he wouldn't make fun of her for?

OOC: Because Percy narrarates the books, right?

OOC: Yeah, all the books are in first person I think, and it makes me feel like I'm in his shoes more

IC: "Thats no reason to make fun of people," I say, seriously. "I used to get picked on at school, before I knew I was a demigod, son of Poseidon. It was because of my ADHD and Dyslexia, and they were all jerks anyway."

"But that is not why for me...." Brooke says, her eyes tinged red from holding back her tears.

OOC: Yeah, they are in first person.

Brooke lets Percy go for calling Rave her boyfriend. Hopefully he wouldn't tell anyone else."Kids here make fun of me too."

"No, I don't want to get anyone hurt or in trouble. I just need....to deal with it." Brooke says. At the last part, she lets go of her tears, and cries into Rave's shirt.

"Whoah... there there, you got me, its alright," Rave says, patting her head softly, holding her tight with his other arm.

At that sight, I was suddenly reminded of Annabath. Damn, I really miss her, I just can't wait to see her again...

"You two are... really cute together,"I find the words to say.

Brooke says nothing, but just keeps on crying. Percy probably wanted to hurt her now, but she couldn't help it. She tenses her body, waiting for pain to come.
