I finally give up, he was too smart. I run towards him full speed. I expect him to just sidestep, so I turn to the left and slash at the last minute.

Brooke was clever to do this, and it would have worked, if Rave hadn't sidestepped the other way.

Rave ran up to her, and, right before he was about to be in arms reach with Brooke, he threw the dagger at her, and watched as she instinctively blocked it, but took advantage of this distraction to slam his arm down on her weapon head, to knock the sword out of her grasp.

The sword goes flying out of my hand and lands on the ground. "So I guess I'm dead?" I tell him.

Rave chuckled.

Rave wasn't expected this, and fell a few steps back, clutching his nose, lucky it wasn't bleeding. He looked at her, and had a brief look in his eye as if he was about to kill her, and then he grinned, and ran at her, going low, taking her by the waist and tackling her to take her to the ground, noticing his dagger was close by on the ground.

"Ah..so the fight turns into a wrestle!" I yell at him happily. I fell to the ground, and kicked him off of me. I jump up and run to pick up my sword. Once I grab it, I turn around to see that he already has his dagger in his hand. "Awww....crap." I mutter to myself.

Rave pauses for a moment to make sure his sunglasses are firmly on.

"No, I don't feel like getting blinded....today." I charge at him, then to make sure he couldn't side step, slash in a wide arc.

Rave raises his dagger to block, but the slash was too powerful, and it knocked the blade completely out of his hands, but he manages to quickly do a 360, and elbow her acrss the face, pushing her back a bit, giving me some time to get back in form, but still leaving me without a weapon.

I laugh at him. You are defenseless!" I half yell half laugh at him. I run up to him, and start beating him up with the handle of my sword. He could do nothing, he was without a weapon, and had no way to defend himself.

IC: Rave had no weapon, that was true, but he wasn't completely defenseless, he still had years of unarmed combat training under his belt. Brooke took his lack of a weapon as being a deciding factor in the battle allowing her to win. This, was her vital mistake.
Rave jumped back from the first attempted strike, and, on the scond, he grabbed her arm with his left arm, pushed himself forward, putting their arms in a lock, and then breaking the lock by jamming his fist under her elbow, causing pain, and slackening her grip on her weapon. The sword started to slip out of her hands, and Rave grabbed the hilt of the blade, triwrled, and held the tip at her neck.
"Bad move. An enemy withought a weapon is still something to be feared."

Out of instinct, I kick him in the nuts. 'Sorry.' I blurt out. 'I wasn't thinking.'

Rave doesn't feel a thing, and when Brooke looks surprised, he spoke in a simple tone.
"I'm wearing a box, Brooke. I always do when I spar."

I look at him with confusion. It took me a second to figure out what he meant. "Oh.....well then." I kick him in his shin, which wasn't guarded, and ran over and snatched his dagger off of the ground. I jump in a 180 to face him. "Your move this time." I tell him, slightly embarrassed from the whole kicking thing.
My head starts pounding. I drop to my knees, holding my head. I stand back up and stare at Rave. 'I....I need some rest. I'm sorry.' I tell him. and with that, I walk out to find something to cure my sudden head pain.

Rave was too stired to stop her from leaving, and let out a mumbled "wait..." before she went. He collapsed onto the ground, utterly exhausted, and still in a bit of pain from the wound he had recieved. She had worked him hard, and he had been slightly cocky.

I run back in. Gods, I had forgotten all about Rave. I see him on the ground. I thought he was just resting, but closer inspection revealed that he was unconcious.
'Rave?' I ask, shaking him. 'Oh gods, it is all my fault.' I whisper almost inaudibly. 'Rave?' I ask again, desperately hoping he wasn't hurt.

Rave's eyes opened sleepily (although this wasn't visible because of the sunglasses), and he looked into Brooke's eyes.

(b) I reach out my hand and help him to his feet. 'I'm sorry I left you. I'm sorry.' Even now, I could see brightness emnating from the sides of his shades. 'Sorry.' I say again. It was all my fault. I just know it.

'Wanna go swimming?' I ask him. It was really hot out, and the water would feel so good. I couldn't help but mutter 'Sorry' again.
