I hesitate a little, but a voice chimed in my head. Don't worry, you can trust her. "Well, I lived in Italy with my mom until I turned 6, then moved to Florida; to the USA. My mom re-married, and with that, came new siblings." My smile fades as I think about my step-siblings, and how they were always mean to me. "I ran away from home at age 12, came here, and have lived my life up to this point in time." I breathe a small sigh of relief, and a smile creeps onto my face. It felt good to talk to Lillian; she actually listens to me. "Would you like to share your story?" I asked her, ready to listen.

"I lived in England; well, until a monster attacked. I freaked out and told my mother. The next day, she announced we were moving to New York. I didn't know why, and she wouldn't answer. A few weeks later, we moved. Finally, I got tired of 'when you're older'. I ran away. And blah-blah-di-blah, I'm here."

BIC: "Ahh. Makes sense." I reply. "Seems like we've got something else in common!" I look around and realize its starting to get late. "What time do you need to be back at your cabin?" I ask. I felt a little protective of Lillian and wanted to be sure she would be safe. She is your only friend, besides your cabin-mates. I thought.

BIC: I look around some more, and I see lots of people leaving. Darn, I thought. The dance must be over soon. I look back at Lillian, who seems to be happy, which is all that mattered. "It looks like the dance is over." I tell her, sad that it was true. "Would you like me to take you to your cabin now?"
