Randel shrugged and walked over to the punch bowl. He filled up a goblet...then decided to pour a bit of wine into it. He smiled as he spiked the punch and walked away casually towards a corner.

Randel looked over at a band getting ready to play and smiled. Cool, Alma was playing. He thought about going out there also, but he didn't feel like it. He sighed and began checking out all of the girls around his age.

Randel released a shaky laugh. "Whoa...I didn't know you...Wow." Randel rubbed the top of his head and sighed. He didn't want to be a jerk, especially on New Year's. He walked up to Alma and kissed her cheek. "I really like you...but as a friend. I should be asking if you forgive me."
