Cassiopeia realized that she had eaten ice cream twice today, but she didn't mind. The ice cream was great! As soon as they stopped by the lake, she dropped her jaw. It was...beautiful. She took a jog as soon as she hugged Jackson and stopped near the lake's surface. She touched the water. It was cold and she could see thin layers of ice...seriously perfect for her. She could just drop about 10 degrees celcius and poof, the lake would be a solid place for ice-skating. She turned to Jackson. "Care for a winter sport?"

Jackson smiled "I would love to" he said as he grabbed some ice skates from the car "I thought we would need these eventually" he smile and walked to the edge of the lake next to Cassie. "You going to freeze the lake?"

"Ha. Of course." Cassie started to concentrate and suddenly the temperature dropped. She didn't actually know the real temperature in the lake area, but she assumed that it was really cold, since people were starting to wear another jacket or sweater on top of their clothes. She was pretty exhausted and smashed herself near the cold grass. She said, "You'll have to wait for a few moment, Jackson."

Cassiopeia grinned. "You're really nice, I can't believe that I just found you recently, after a few months in the camp," she leaned and kissed Jackson's cheek. It took up most of her courage, and she hoped that Jackson would appreciate it. Oh, he had to. She turned to the lake and examined it. "It would be ready in a few minutes..." she murmurred. Goodness, she sounded like a chef waiting for her cookies to be ready.

Jackson loved it when her cold lips brushed against his cheek. She was amazing, just straight up amazing. He held he hand as they looked at the lake and he nodded. She was perfect, and almost the opposite of him in many things but they for together as a pair perfectly. He really appreciated her, and all she did. "You have very nice magic"

"Nah," Cassiopeia plucked up her courage--again--to speak. "You should have seen some other campers. They're way much better than me," She touched the lake's surface. It was solid. Great! She removed her scarf from her neck and fixed her glasses. People were staring at her--some of them were putting their ice-skating shoes on, by the way--but she didn't really care. This coldness might be scary for them, but not for her. She put her shoes on and stepped on the ice.

Jackson smiled and put her scarf in the car before strapping on his skates and stepping out onto the ice. He. Held his hand out for her to take it. He was enjoying this, the little moments making it all the better

Cassie took Jackson's hand and started to glide across the ice. This was her comfort zone. Soon she realized that Jackson was pretty good at skating, and she was clearly impressed. "You're great," She complimented. "But do try to keep up!" she gently released her hand from Jackson and ran towards the crowd on the ice.

Jackson smirked and raced after her. He knew how to skate, he had been skating for a long time as he raced towards her, skidding to let tony shreds of ice fall into the surrounding area

Cassiopeia looked back only to see Jackson, but it was a bad timing. She had reached one of the end lines of the ice and she was turning back when her ice-skating shoes hit the line. She fell--literally flied over the cold grassy ground--hard on land.

Cassiopeia broke--not in tears, obviously, but in laugh. She laughed happily, despite that her right arm was bruished and hurt since it clashed with the ground. "No, I'm fine," she tried to stand up, but there were tiny dots covering her eyes and she had to sit down again, "No, I'm not really fine. Just give me a moment." she said.

Cassiopeia rolled her sweater just to make sure. "Oh gosh, it did work," she murmurred. The pain started to go away, and the bruise was gone. "Thanks," Cassiopeia smiled at Jackson.

"Yeah, and let's try for a slower one," Cassiopeia groaned a little when Jackson pulled her from the ground and they started skating once again. Cassie was now extremely aware not to look at Jackson carelessly--especially when she was near the end lines.

“Of course,” Cassiopeia smirked and let go of Jackson’s hand. She skated in circles a few times before running straight through and jumped. She didn’t jump really high, but she managed to turn around in the air and landed gracefully on the ice. Ice-skating had always been her best sport. She then skated back to Jackson and grinned. “That’s one of my tricks,” she said.

Cassiopeia laughed and smiled as Jackson skated. It was really impressive. As soon as Jackson skated back to her, she grabbed Jackson's hand. "It was wonderful, but come on now, Mr. Shiny Skater," she totally made up the name for Jackson and started to skate again. "Let's skate again before I get exhausted."
