Homeward (Private)

I but the inside of my cheek, concerned th, perhaps, her condition was worsening. "I think there's a... A motel or something close by. We can stay there overnight. I'll be warm and out of the rain and you can rest there. I don't imagine you'd have gotten much rest on that ques,"
I told her.

"You'd be right," she said, shivering. She drank the last of her drink slowly, feeling exactly where the warmth was headed in her body. She could feel it spreading through her chest. It was a lovely feeling. She looked up at him and noticed she still wore his jacket over her stolen one. "Do you want this back?"

She shrugged. "It's your choice," she said. "Just please don't turn out to be yet another monster and give me another disease."

She smiled and followed him. "I'll be fine soon. I promise," she said and drew a cross in the air above her heart. She watched him from the doorway of the café. She looked up at the grey sky as a cab pulled up.

Victoire came over and got in. She was quietly shivering inside when she realised she had not looked inside the bag she had stolen. She opened it and her eyes grew in disbelief. "No way..." she murmured.

She grinned. "Now, anyway. It appears I now have access to my family's bank accounts," she said. "My mother must have been on that cruise."

She pulled out a credit card with the word Capulet clearly seen on it.

Victoire reddened. "Actually, Daddy owns a record company. I can spend as much money as I like and it wouldn't make a dent."

"I'll open the doors for you then," she said. "In attempt to out-gentleman you."

She grinned weakly before coughing into the handbag.

It's official... The sword is letting me get sick... she thought to herself. She looked at Liam. "Sorry..." she said weakly. "I mean it... Thank you, also."

OOC: Just to clear up with the mods. I had a glitchy moment on my laptop. She did not double post. I accidentally deleted mine. Victoire was sitting down feeling dizzy.

Victoire nodded. "I should be able to make that just fine," she said and coughed so hard that her body shook violently each time. She tried standing and shuffled toward the elevator.

"I crutches my way over to the elevator, keeping a close eye on my new found friend, just in case she collapsed.

"You doing okay?"

OOC Yeah, thanks for the clarification :) I myself was pretty confused (I freaked out for just a second, thinking I'd just completely imagined your response)

"I will be once I sleep," she said and put a hand on her forehead. She was still damp from the rain and she was so tired... Her chest was very tight, too. She moved straight into the elevator. "I'll need antibiotics. I was well previously."

"You can use my card," she said and gestured to the purse. The elevator rose and stopped with a bing. Victoire was a little thrown by it and stumbled forward. She stopped short and closed her eyes, pinching the bridge of her nose. "I'm OK..."

She moved in and stumbled to the ground. "I-I'm OK," she said. She was dizzy and coughed more violently. She got back up and sat on a bed. She coughed and held her chest close.
