Cleaning the Kitchen Bites.

Blaine held up the spray bottle and quickly drenched her.

"Ha ha! Bow to me, female!" He shouted as he sprayed without any mercy.

Ooc: My glasses! I can't be seen without my glasses!

Josephine's jaw dropped. "Blaine!" She flicked her wet hair at him.

Blaine held up his hands defensively, the bottle dangling from his thumb. He laughed and wiped the water from his face.

She smiled. "Got a towel or anything?"

"Only the towel in my heart." Blaine patted his chest as if the statement made sense what-so-ever. He shrugged and tossed her another sponge.

"I don't see one. You should've planned ahead!"

Josephine raised an eyebrow. "I don't know that I was going to get sprayed by a bottle!" She laughed.

"You are supposed to expect the unexpected!" Blaine laughed as he went to walk forward to retrieve more food from the refrigerator. Not noticing the puddle below, the son of Khonsu slipped! In a rush to catch himself without plummeting into Josephine, he caught himself on the edge of the counter. Unfortunately...he could not manage to stop his lips from connecting with hers. By catching the counter top, Blaine somehow accidentally made it look/feel like a real kiss! His face blushed bright red, eyes wide.

Ooc: And cue fall here. Anywho, your pic is ready. :P

Josephine backed away, her face bright red. "Uhh..." She turned away. How ironic...expect the unexpected. Did he mean to do that? She thought and glanced over at him. He was obviously blushing too.

Ooc: yay!

Blaine's face looked as if he had forgotten to put on pants and showed up to school in his underwear. Like he had just gotten smacked by some stranger. Like...like he just accidentally kissed his almost-best friend. The blushing boy fixed himself so that he stood casually again.

"S...sorry..." He never apologized for a kiss before. This was only his...what? Third kiss in his seventeen years? Blaine walked back over towards his mop, all food thoughts forgotten, and began cleaning again with his back toward Jo.

His mind continued to wonder. Had he enjoyed the kiss? It wasn't actually a kiss, was it? More of a...brush of the lips if that. Her lips kind of still faintly tasted like that slushy she had earlier. Was it weird that he was considering the taste of his best friend's lips? It sounded creepy that way... Gods, he shouldn't even be stressed out about this!

Josephine watched him closely as he mopped the floor. "It's uhm...fine." She gently touched her lips and sighed. She grabbed the sponge and cleaned off more of the tables. Do I like him? No...he's my best friend. Questions flew by in her head, questions that she couldn't answer.

Awkwardly, Blaine continued to mop the floor until it was spotless. After he was done with this he went to washing more of the dishes with out another word.

Josephine finished cleaning all of the tables and decide to break the silence. "Sooo how's it going?" She smiled sheepishly and scratched the back of her neck.

"Good, good. The, ah, lava stings a little." Blaine laughed a bit as a bubble of lava popped, nearly splattering his face. These rubber gloves barely helped at all with the heat.

Josephine nodded. "Yeah looks hot...I mean the lava." Josephine chewed the inside of her cheek. Dammit Jose... Why are you so awkward? She mentally cursed at herself.

Blaine's face blushed impossibly red as he scrubbed away at the dish, nearly breaking it in two. Well...what does he do now? Say "I know"? That's weird! Gah, women!

"It is. It, ah, burns flesh."

Josephine leaned up against a chair. "Yeah, burning flesh." She leaned back and the chair moved. Jose's feet slid out from under her and she fell to the ground.

Blaine rushed over as soon as he heard the leg creak (a gift given his sensitive night-guy hearing) and caught her arm before she could fully fall.

"Are you alright?" He asked with much concern.

Jose smirked. "Ya I'm fine...just clumsy." She stood up and brushed herself off. "Thanks for catching me."

"No problem. Reflexes." Blaine laughed nervously and took a step back. He didn't want to make her anymore uncomfortable.

Josephine watched him as he stepped back. "Do I make you uncomfortable?"

"No, I thought that I made you uncomfortable." Blaine shrugged awkwardly. Yes, she made him uncomfortable but not in a bad way.

Jose's eyes widened. "Oh well you don't." She smiled awkwardly.

Ooc: something needs to happen or they are doomed lol

"I enjoyed kissing your lips." Blaine blurted.

Ooc: Boom.

Josephine froze and stared at him. "Really?" She felt her face burn.

Blaine facepalmed. OH MY GODS he was stupid. Was he not supposed to be the master of words?! Gah!
"I mean...I-I-I didn't mean to say that, uh. Hm."
