Central Park

Elise got out of the cars windshield and fell down next to Marcus. "Marcus...it's not your fault. Stay with me please." She sat up and held his hand. "What do I do?"

"Stay still"I murmured as I slowly knelt next to her with a pained hiss."Let me take you to a hospital, we are too far to return to camp. Your wounds may get infected" I said through clenched teeth and picked her up

"Marcus! No! Your more hurt than I am! Let's both walk. I'll help you out." Elise got off of him and winced. "Come on let's go." She started to walk, tears in her eyes.

"No!"I shouted and wrapped my arms around her waist to stop her, causing the metal piece shifting inside me but I ignored the blinding pain. "I did this to you! The least I can do is care for you, and I will. Even if I die trying. I deserve it"I let out before picking her up again.

"Marcus no!" Elise started to fight him. "You have a piece of metal in you. I have to carry you! I won't let you for trying to help me!" Elise cried out. She felt herself loosing consciousness. "Marcus...stop." She managed to spit out before she passed out.

"Shhh, calm down little girl. It's okay, I got you"I whispered doothingly and nuzzled her neck as she passed out. Feeling my weakness growing, I stopped a taxi by running in front of it. The driver sped to the nearest hospital just in time. The last thing I saw before I fainted again was nurses running towards us amd screaming

Elise woke up in a blurr. She saw nurses looking after her. "Where am I?"
One of the nurses turned to her and spoke in a sweet tone. "Why you are in the hospital dear. You surgery was a sucess. "
Elise looked around the room. "Where's Marcus?"

I groaned as I woke up in a soft bed. I yawned and tried to strech my arms but yelped as pain shot through my stomach and I found out one of my arms were tied."Wh-hat's going on?"I stammered confused as my vision cleared enough for me to notce the people discussing in whispers above me

The nurse smiled sweetly. "Is that the boy you came in with?"
Elise nodded gently.
"Oh he's fine." The nurse grabbed a needle from the tray. "We have to give you a shot. It won't hurt much."
Elise eyes widened. "Marcus! Where are you!?"

"Shut up"I mumbled as a shouting voice reached my ears.The people above me froze and looked down at me before inserting a needle in my arm. I wanted to protest but I sudenly was too sleepy to care.

"MARCUS!" Elise screamed as the nurses put restraints on her arms and legs.

A girl was standing away from me. It was dark but I still could make out she was beautiful. She was looking down at her shoes and when I tried to come closer, she somehow got further away without moving. Who was this girl? As if she heard my question, he raised her head and locked her eyes with mine. And suddenly, a name came to my brain

"Elise!"I screamed as I woke up. Panting, Iscaned the room. No one was here. The doctors must have given me some kind of anesthetic because I couldn't feel any pain. Another scream was heard . So I wasn't asleep that long I thought to myself. With another look around my bed, I realised I wasn't connected to any machines. Curiously, I got off the bed and walked outside my room, barefoot since there weren't any shoes around. I neared the room where the voices were coming from and quietly slid in through the slightly open door." There were lots of beds but only one was crowded. I couldn't see the patient but from the voice I understood it was a girl."Hello?"

Elise settled down after they gave her the shot. She felt her eyes grow tired,"Marcus I need you. Please don't be dead."

I took another step forward and looked confused at the girl on the bed. Those eyes...."It's you!" I gasped

"Marcus..." Elise whispered before falling asleep.

"What?Wait,dob't sleep!No!Who's Marcus?Who're you?"I asked and shook her shoulder but sadly, she had fallen asleep

Elise woke up later that night. She notice that the restraints on her limbs were gone. She sat up and looked around he room. "Marcus?"

After the weird girl fel asleep, I sat by her side and waited. The doctors came and gave me my medicine before leaving me alone for the night. A while later I fell asleep where I sat,waking later from a strange voic."Huh?"I mumbled as I rubbed my eyes

Elise looked at the source of the noise. "Marcus!" Elise go out of the bed and quickly hugged him. "You're alive!"

"Me?"I asked confused while patting her back awkwardly.Maybe she had arrived from the mental department

Elise let go of him and looked him in the eyes. "What? aren't you excited to see me alive?"

"Um...I g-guess...But who are you?And who's that Marcus guy?"I asked nervously

Elise's jaw dropped. "You...You don't remember yourself?" She covered her face. [color:4c78=#darkred]"You're Marcus and I am your girlfriend Elise."
