"You?....My-my girlfriend?!"I exclaimed and stared at her stunned.

"Yes..." Elise sighed.

"Wow... Why are you here then?"I asked, trying to start a conversation

"Case we were in a car crash, I am guessing you lost your memory of me." Elise held back tears.

"Oh.Sorry,Elise, but I really remember nothing!"I tried to explain

Elise rubbed her eyes. "Why does everything bad happen to me? You were the only good thing in my life an you don't even remember me."

I sighed and wrapped my arms around her in a hug."You may not be part of my actual memories, but something deep down knows you. I saw you in my dream" I said softly.

"Then mabye there is hope." Elise hugged him back. Please remember Marcus...please

"Yeah, maybe there is.....So,I'm Marcus?"I asked, trying to change the subject

Elise smiled and let go of him. "Yeah."

"And who am I? Where do I live? Where do we go to school? We do go to school together, right?"

Elise looked around the room for anyone ease dropping and she leaned into Marcus's ear "We don't go to school we go to camp half blood. It's because our parents are at least of our parents is a god or goddess. For example my dad is the god of war, Ares."

I let out a nervous laugh and shook my head."That's impossible!"

Elise sighed. "Great now I sound crazy. Your god parent is Acheron."

I smiled gently and nodded."Look, I've got to go back now. The medicines' effects have started weakening. We'll talk about it tomorrow, okay? Now go to sleep"I instructed and weaved before walking out of her room

Elise sat back down on the bed. "We need to get back to camp before some monsters find us." She leaned against the pillow and closed her eyes.

I froze at the door."Camp?Monster?!"

"Yep." She looked at him. "We should break outta here while we can."

"What kind of m-monsters?"I asked shakily

"Hmm there's so many... Well you got the land base monsters. Minotaurs, harpies, hydras, then some weird sea monsters. That's all I can think of right now. But they can smell us and they won't hesitate to kill us. "

"So... You werent joking? What you said is true?" I sighed. She sounded too sure for it to be a lie

"Yep 100% true." Elise opened one eye and looked up at him.

"Oh....Um...We must stay here for a while. So both of us can get better"I thought aloud and sat at the end of her bed

Elise closed her eyes again. "Fine but the longer we stay the more of a chance we will become monster chow."

"We need rest. End of story. Goodnight"I covered her with her blanket so she'd be warm and left.
