Water...

Stealle watched the waves crash upon the shore. She didn't really have much else to do, and didn't really care. She had her sketchbook in her lap, along with colored pencils. She began to sketch the horizon. The setting sun. The waves. All captured in one image on a single piece of paper, and it didn't look half bad. It didn't even lone one-quarter bad. She was actually pretty talented in that kind of thing.

Stealle didn't even take notice as another girl walked up and sat on a rock just a few feet from her. She was weird that way. Adding a few finishing touches to her drawing, Stealle sighed, leaning back on her elbows and comparing the art to the actual outside world.

Stealle jumped when the girl came crawling up next to her. "Ah... thanks" She said, looking at the picture sideways, not really seeing that is was all that great. She didn't think it was. She had drawn better.

Stealle really had no idea what to say. She was never all that great at communicating with people, and didn't really want to be. This girl looked nice enough, and mostly happy. "Um..." Was all Stealle could think of saying.

Stealle ran her fingers through her own hair, which was a significantly lighter color than Kat's was. Stealles was near-white with light blue highlights, barely noticeable in the setting sun. She wore an orange camp half blood tee shirt with dark jeans, despite the cold weather. "I'm Stealle..." She muttered, looking out over the ocean.

Stealle just stared at the girl, wondering what to say. "Um... thanks." She said, trying to figure how old Kat was. Who she was a child of. Stealle wasn't the kind to ask. Usually other campers would introduce themselves with their name and parent... or at least thats what Stealle had heard. She shrugged the thought aside and started to sketch again. She was never very good at drawing people, but she gave it a shot. She began to sketch the girl lying before her, trying to get it very detailed as a gift for her. She was so nice it almost made Stealle feel bad she wasn't very social... almost.

Stealle cleared her throat and looked up from her half finished drawing. "Khione" She muttered, starting to color the hair of the girl sitting before her. The drawing loowed rather nice, a nice lowness of the real life girl. Stealle didn't think it looked so good. As Stealle began to color the girls clothes, she looked up and asked "What about you?"

Stealle looked at the picture sideways as she finished coloring her clothes and began trying to find the correct shade for her skin. "It's supposed to be, but I guess it's not really that great..." Her voice trailed as she started to color the girls face and arms. The shading was a bit off, but it was barely noticeable.

At that point Stealle had no doubts that this girl was a daughter of Aphrodite. Stealle was starting to color the details of the drawing, like the shadows behind the girl. As she worked, the water that was pooling in the sand next to her began to freeze, making a small pool of ice.

Stealle looked over at the ice she had created and cursed herself for not being more careful. "Yes, I do. I try not to use hem often, They aren't really that exciting." She colored the last corner of the rough paper and sketched her initials lightly on the bottom right corner. She ripped the paper out and handed it to Kat, as if it were just a cereal bar she hadnt wanted.

"Thanks, you were a nice model. I'm not very good at drawing people without a model..." Stealle bit her lip. She wasn't used to people complimenting her, or even taking notice of her at all. Even if her siblings were asked where she was they probably wouldn't know who she was.

"Thank you. I appreciate you saying that." Stealle wiped her hair out of her light blue eyes. She really was rather pretty, it's hard to believe no one notices her ever. But she liked being un-noticed. She never liked groups of people and cherished silence. But it was a nice change to have any sort of company.

"I'm Stealle." She said again. The sun was setting now. It shone o her face, making her hair and eyes seem lighter than usual. Stealle pushed her sketch book behind her, trying to hide the picture of her light blue converse she had drawn in her boredom.
