Minor BoO Spoilers
It was getting closer to Christmas, and Cody decided it'd be nice to start Christmas shopping- he was going to get a few of his family members gifts, as well as Nemo and Charlotte. He was also going to get some things for the poor and send it to charity.
He looked around at the different knicknacks and such; knicknacks because there were a lot of snowglobes and lamps and stuff. He wondered if they did anything special; this was the first time he had ever been to this store, mostly because it just opened this year. Although they had to get through Thanksgiving first, Christmas shopping was always better to get done earlier rather than later, or else you might end up buying your dad a bag of lint or something. He stopped for a second, wondering if he should buy anything for Ceres, for the solstice trips. He figured it would be best to get the people that were actually in his life presents first, before even considering getting her a present.
He saw a teddy bear with hearts and such on it. It had (insert romantic saying here) on it; he planned on buying Charlotte a couple presents, and this could potentially be the first. But he also had to sort of limit himself; he did have other people to buy for, and he couldn't ask his dad for money to buy him a gift. As in, buying his father a gift with his father's own money. Cody scratched the few pieces of hair, his bangs, outside of the beanie he was wearing. He refused to look at the price, though; anything to make Char happy.
Although, it might've been a little too romantic cliche.
He grumbled at the thought. He thought about it for a moment.
