Don't Ask [me and Alex]

Andy groaned as he walked into the infirmary for what was probably the hundredth time over the course of him living at camp. He had managed to climb to one of the tallest trees in the forest and had an amazing view but on his way down hit just about every branch for a good ten feet resulting in his chest hurting like hell and a sprained wrist. You have the luck of a broken mirror.Gamora teased as she sat on his shoulder, to which Gemini agreed. You know I can hear your thoughts, right? Andy teased back mentally as they usually did. Scorpio and Crow were back at the cabin with Andromeda and her own hellhound for the day so it just meant the son of Hecate had less to worry about. Walking to an empty cot he sat down with a groan and clenched his side.

He stood out like hell and cursed his genes for making him a 6'4" giant who was built like a fifteen year old. Rolling his hurt wrist the teen looked around the room and saw probably a dozen or so Apollo kids mixed with a few Demeters for herbs and such. This place could have been his second home truth be told, he got hurt far too often from doing stupid things that he thought he could do easy.

The son of Apollo, Javier, was one of the people working in the infirmary today. After doing some archery in the range, he was free to come and help out there in the infirmary. He was wearing his sleeveless Camp Half-Blood t-shirt, cargo shorts, and vans. Overall, he was having a pretty good day which was usual for Javi. Not saying that he didn't have his dark nights like when he missed his madre or when he just didn't want to be bothered with other people.

He looked up just in time to see taller guy walk into the infirmary. Just by looking at his wrist, he knew what was wrong. Easy fix. Walking over, he decided to introduce himself. "Beunos tardes. Estoy Javier and I can tell that your wrist is sprained, no?" His Guatemalan accent lacing his words. "Easy fix." He then grabbed a stool he could sit on and reached out his hand to him. "May I?"

Andy saw the tanned demigod walk over and assumed Apollo. Yeah go for it. And I think i messed up my ribs bad too. He said trying to give a laugh but winced and clutched his side again. This was going to be the downfall of him and he knew it all too well.

Javier nodded his head and took his hand from him. Closing his eyes, he started to sing a hymn of Apollo in ancient Greek. The sprained wrist slowly started to heal. He opened his eyes and the brown of his eyes were now a gold color. He healed it as much as he could before stopping and letting his eyes go back to normal. "There." He flashes his bright smile at him before getting a piece of ambrosia and handing it to him. "And you say that your ribs hurt?" He softly started to feel on his sides. "Do you mind if you take off your shirt?"

Andy smiled as his wrist was healed and rotated it a few times before listening to the request for him to take his shirt off. He had done entire shows shirtless in the last so he simply gave a nod and pulled off the cloth, revealing more tattoos and bruises the size of his fist. Groaning as he used his muscles he winced and set the fabric down next to where he was sitting.

gaze upon the beauty if you are worthy:

"Nice tattoos. I've always wanted to get one, but never had the chance." A nice sun tattoo on his right shoulder blade would be nice. Javier noticed the bruise and made a sympatric wince. "Yeah, that is bad, no?" He glanced up at him with a smirk before getting up to make a paste that would help with bruising. "I didn't catch your name."

Fair warning, getting one never happens. It's addictive as hell. He admitted remembering the batman tattoo on his forearm and how it was supposed to only be that one and then he realized getting a tattoo wasn't all that bad in reality. Now, at 19, he had an entire sleeve and numerous other ones scattered about his chest and other arm. Andy Black. What about you? He asked then Gamora and Gemini nudged him. Oh, and this is Gamora and Gemini. He added watching as Javier began making a paste of sorts.

Javier laughed a bit. "I'll take that into consideration if I were to get a tattoo." He wouldn't mind having one, but he didn't want to get addicted to it by any means. Tattoos cost money after all. "Salvador. Javier Salvador. It nice to meet your pets too." He looked over his shoulder to smile at him before coming back and sitting on the stool with the bowl in his hand. He put the bowl off to the side, grabbed some gaze, and started to roll it out, about three feet worth. The son of Apollo then smeared the paste on one part of the gaze and placed that over the fist sized bruise. "This should help." Now he was wrapping the rest of it around his ribcage slowly, making sure he didn't mess up.

Wincing a little at the first strip of gaze the son of Hecate gritted by his teeth and cursed under his breath. You would think that after getting hurt as often as I do from performances with the band i would be used to this kind of crap. He tried to laugh but quickly decided against it as his ribs sent a shooting pain through his side.

"Oh, so you play in a band, no? That must be exciting." Javier said as he wrapped the gaze around his chest one more time before taking a pin and holding it in place. There, that should do it. Javier then got up from the stool, grab a the bowl, and then walked over to the main work table and started to clean out the bowl. "You're all good to go, mi amingo." He gave him another smile over his shoulder before wiping his hands off and going to tidy up the gaze from Andy's cot.

Andy gave a small shrug, not wanting to disturb the bindings. It's not all its cracked up to be but it has its perks. The booze are great. He laughed a little before pulling out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter and lighting one end with the other in his mouth. Taking a few puffs he relaxed and smiled his perfect smile at the other demigod. Well thanks for the help with my stupidity repercussions. Taking another puff of his cigarette he heard a scold in his mind from Crow. Leave it to the cat to try and get him to quit smoking no matter where he was.

"You're welcome." He finished cleaning up the cox and smiled up at him. Javier didn't want to sound like a know it all, but being an Apollo kid he had to say this. "You know, smoking at a young age isn't good for your lungs and overall oral hygiene. I know in America, smoking still is seen as cool, but... never the mind." He shook his head and just decided to mind his business. He wasn't a doctor, well, not yet anyways.

Andy shrugged. Its relaxing and I’m going to die eventually. Weather I smoke now or later doesn’t really make a difference. He pointed out all things considered. It was interesting to be having one of these conversations with an Apollo, usually he was only with his siblings and a few other friends but almost never in the infirmary with an Apollo. And besides, I’m still here aren’t I? He smirked and took another few puffs.

Javier didn't want to the that type of person to criticize his habit. Everyone had their own thing even Javi did. "Yeah, I guess you are." He smiled back before scratching his own shoulder. "Lo siento, I need to mind my own business."

Andy chuckled in his deep voice. Don't sweat it. You would be surprised by how many people would do exactly what you jsut did. It's fine. He admitted as he finished his first cigarette. There was the urge to smoke another but considering where he was he decided against it and to save it for later.

The son of Apollo smiled some and started to mess with the gaze that was still in his hands. "There are just looking out for your health and your best interest." He said simply with a shrug his shoulders before walking over and putting the gaze back where it came from. "You're welcome to leave whenever you feel better."

I mean I have nothing better to do. Besides, ill get bored and end up going out and getting hurt again by accident. As does the universe hate me. He admitted to his streak of bad luck and habit of getting injured. What he didn't admit to though, was that he was actually having a really good time talking with the Apollo. Gemini yawned and made his was back to the cabins with Gamora only to be replaced by Scorpio, who was looking as menacing as ever to be honest. Scorpio always looked more like the other hellhounds where as his brother was more like a normal hound. Scratching behind his ears he watched as the companion hopped up onto the cot and laid behind and next to the demigod.

Javier smiled widely before scratching the back of his head. "Alright, then." He decided to move on to the other patients in the infirmary, helping them with their fractures, bruises, colds, and everything else that transpired in camp. Now it was his lunch break; walking over to his things and getting a mango, a bottled water, and a ham sandwich. Looking around, he decided to go and sit down beside Andy. "So, who's your god parent?"

Andy watched as everyone around him worked and busied themselves with the patients from camp and chuckled. It was almost pathetic how many of them got hurt and just how often they managed to do it. With lunch break starting for a few of the demigods Andy smiled as Javier sat by him to eat. I thought it was obvious with the hellhounds. He admitted chuckling. My mom's Hecate. I'm assuming your an Apollo judging by that magic you use to heal my wrist.

"Well Hecate isn't the only underworld goddess at camp. There is, um...Thantos, Hades, Mania, Melinoe-- the list goes on." Javier shrugged his shoulders with a chuckle. "But that's cool that your mom is Hecate. I bet you can do a lot of things, no?" He asked before taking a bite out of his mango, watching as the juices coursed down onto his tanned fingertips.

Shrugging Andy began playing with his lighter, a skull head no less. I mean I guess. Some of them are pretty typical while others are kinda cool. His favorite thing to do by far was form his dark tendrils from his back like Slenderman could. Other than that his powers were pretty standard as far as Hecate kids went. This is probably my favorite one i guess. He admitted as he summoned the tendrils from his back and smiled as they sort of moved like jellyfish tentacles would. They were completely black in color and twenty feet long, so he had them reaching up into the air rather than straight back behind where he was sitting.

Javier looked at the tentacules in awe for a moment before laughing a bit. "That is pretty cool, mi amigo."He couldn't do anything like that, well, not that cool, but maybe just as dramatic. "I can do some things too, but it takes a lot out of me."

Andy nodded and grabbed a bottle of nectar form one of the tables not far off with the tendril. He dropped it in his actual hand and looked it over, it wasn't larger than his palm and he tossed it and caught it again. You mind if i keep this? With my luck ill need it doing something stupid. He enjoyed the extra arms that could reach so far, it made things more fun and they were ungodly strong so he could use them to hang from the trees like a hammock for short moments.

"Sure, go right ahead." He smiled at Andy before taking another bite out of his mango. He would have to get a napkin to keep the cot and the floor underneath from being sticky. "Where are you from?"

Andy got a mischievous idea and grabbed the mango from Javier with one of the Tendrils and held it twenty feet in the air. I'm from Los Angeles. And this is now mine. He laughed, glad that some of the pain in his ribs had subsided. Andy began tossing the partially eaten Mango between the three appendages sprouting from his back and Scorpio gave what sounded like a barking laugh as he watched the Mango flying through the air.
