Don't Ask [me and Alex]

Los Angeles? Javier was familiar with that face, but he had never been himself. Maybe he'll have to go sometime. Javier was about to take another bite out of his mango when Andy took it right from his hands. "Hey, give that back!" He exclaimed with laughter, reaching up to get it from the tendrils.

Andy laughed and reached a full twenty feet in hte air with the extra apendages. Another perk to magic, tricking and pranking others. Scorpio gave another barking laugh and watched the Mango through the air. You gotta catch it first. The son of Hecate chuckled in his deep tone. It was always funny to see how others reacted to this form of his magic seeing as it was close to Slenderman and he could totally scare some people. He actually dressed like the creepypasta character for the halloween dance one year that some of his friends had held at camp. Everyone hated him that night.

He wasn't going to give up by any means and decided that he would have to get a little dirty if he wanted his mango back. The son of Apollo poked his healing ribs hoping that it would distract Andy long enough for him to get his fruit back.

That did it. A stabbing pain shot through Andy’s side and he dropped the fruit, using his tendrils to wrap himself up as he hugged his side in pain. Christ. He said through clenched teeth. Apparently he head hurt his ribs far worse than he thought and even with them on the mend he was still in more pain than he would like to be. Even so, he sort a sat there in pain for a few moments before dismissing his three extra appendages and still holding his side.

Javier smiled some, but soon that fade when he saw how much pain he was in. Was it wroth it? Probably not, but at least he got his mango! "Lo siento." He put his hand to his ribs and started to heal them, singing the same hymn of Apollo. That should help with the pain and quicken the healing process.

Andy took a deep breath in and felt his muscles and bones begin to relax and mend as Javier did his weird healing thingy. Thanks Jav. He said giving a half smile. It was odd that he hadn't learned or knew a healing spell yet but it wasn't out of the question, at least he didn't think so.

He nodded his head and stood up from the cot. "De nada." Javier took another bite out of his mango, then finished that off. The son of Apollo really, really like mangoes for some reason. He walked over to a clean bowl and water and started wash his hands from the sticky juices that got on them.

So what made you choose to go for the whole typical Apollo gig? Not that I'm judging, but with so many options why choose a medic? Andy asked as he rolled his shoulders. He hadn't used his tendril magic in a few weeks so the spaces where they came from felt sore for some reason, which was odd considering they were magic and not actually a part of him. Either way, the feeling was there and the demigod tried his best to solve the problem without injuring himself even more.

That was a good question; why did he chose being involved in medicine over all the opportunities at his command. "No sé. I mean, I could be a singer, musician, even a model, but there's something about being a practitioner of medicine that's more natural to me." He shrugged his shoulders and came back down to sit beside him. "Plus when I'm done here, I want to become an immunologist or a pathologist and be able to send money back to mi madre."

Woah woah woah. Too many scientific and professional words in one sentence for me. Andy said waving his hands in front of him laughing.How about a little simpler terms? He asked petting Scorpio and feeling his magical energy slowly begin filling again. The simple magic like the tendrils didn't really drain him like some of them could but even still, there was always a depletion of magic no matter what the power used was.

"I only said two. Patho means "disease" and ologist means "someone who studies". Then immuno means "immune system" so I don't really get the disconnect." Bless Javier and his brain. The son of Apollo took a bite out of his ham sandwich, trying not to get crumbs on the bed.

Never heard those words before in my life so don't blame me. He laughed holding up his hands in defeat. He liked hanging out with Javier, Andy felt like he was talking with Ashton or any one of the other guys in his band. It was simple and natural, hell he felt like he had known Javier for years not hours. So! He said clapping his hands together. Would you be at all interested in seeing me and my band perform? We're renting a place in NYC for practicing outside of camp, you in? He asked before getting up and stretching his long limbs slowly.

Really? He hadn't heard of any of those words before? Man, I guess that meant no medicinal talk then? The son of Apollo thought for a second before nodding his head. "Sure! I would love to go see you perform!"

Sweet. We practice next week Wednesday through Friday pretty much all day. You're welcome to come and watch whenever you like but text me before you get there so I can make sure we aren't out at lunch or whatever. He pulled a pen and scrap of paper from his pocket and wrote his number on the slip before holding it out to Javier. It was the first time the band had performed in months so it was going to be a little rough around the edges but he really did want the son of Apollo to visit and meet the band, plus with his luck he was going to end up breaking himself more.

Javier started to chew on his bottom lip while he watched the son of Hecate right down his phone number. He took it when he gave the piece of paper to him and smiled. "Gracias, Andy. I would love to come and watch you practice." Javi loved listening to music so this would be a real treat. "Can I text you for any other reason?"

Shrugging and laughing Andy thought for a moment.. I don't care. I'm a pretty horrible texter and will probably read the message then respond three hours later no matter what I'm doing unless I'm ungodsly bored. He admitted. It was really bad, Ashton had been trying to get him to text "normally" for ages now and it never happened.

Javier laughed. "Well, then I'll just text you to ask when it'll be a good time to come see you practice and that's it." He took another bite of his sandwich before finishing it off and putting the Ziploc bag into the recycling bin. "Hopefully I'll see you around?"

If im not out trying to do something stupid I'll probably be here being injured as usual. He laughed before motioning for Scorpio to get up, to which he obediently did. And I mean it's Tuesday so I'll be in NYC for a few days starting tomorrow and as long as its between eight am and eleven at night you're more than welcome to visit. But still give a heads up in case we left for food or whatever. I'll see you around Jav. Andy said as he walked out of the infirmary with his hellhound at his side and his hands in his pockets.

Javier smiled and waved to him as he left. "Alright, then. See you tomorrow, then!" He watched him leave the infirmary before turning around and going back to helping people.
