"I've got a girlfriend that'd be pretty upset if I died and a few other friends. Too bad your friends didn't care enough about you to come with you from France. Theo restrained, with difficulty, the urge to strangle her. He knew his face was not a pleasant sight... He had a monster scar across the right side of his face that extended from just off center of his forehead, through his right eye, to his jaw. On the left side of a face was another scar that ran from cheekbone to ear from the time a cop had tried to shoot him. "I wouldn't be the one to talk about 'ugly', if I were you," Theo sneered. "Not with that body."
