I walked into the mess hall kitchen, hoping to find some napkins. I'd spilled ice cream all over my shirt. Stupid gravity. I roamed around, looking for that tube of paper towel.

I turned my head to look over at the other person, surprised by the sudden question. "Just a napkin," I answered, and made a gester to my ice cream stained shirt.

Gaebrie chuckled lightly. "How about I get that cleaned up with a washcloth, I don't think the napkin will help much." She got out a washcloth and began running it under warm water, her nurturing instincts starting up.

Gaebrie smiled and walked over to a table of sweets. "Hmmm...." She looked for a vanilla cupcake, quickly spotting one. "Here we go!" She brought it over to candy and handed it to her. "Would you like a big glass of milk to go with that cupcake?"
