Theo frowned. He hadn't kept track of his age through the years. It hadn't been important. "Er, fifteen, I think," he answered her honestly. "I dunno really, but I can always pass off as older."

"Mist," Theo said automatically. "It's easy enough to use if you just know how. I've used it for ages on the mortals without them knowing any better." He smirked. "I probably should have used it on that doctor whose nose I broke, but I wasn't thinking straight then." With a shrug, he said, "At least I can read and write; I'd be mighty suspicious if I couldn't." His education had stopped when he was eight - when his mother had left him - and he had never made an effort to resume it.

"Dang it," Aria muttered, who hadn't moved much since he fell asleep. Disentangling herself from him, she moved a little ways away, hoping that if she still had something he wouldn't catch any more of it.

Aria felt his pulse. Steady, if not particularly strong. She wasn't just going to sit here while it ran its course though. This was Demetrius. He could die. First things first however. She spread the blanket on the ground, them wrapped him in it. Keep him warm, she thought.

"That is exactly what I'm saying," Theo said seriously. "And about the mist - nothing to do but try." He followed Alex, lengthening his strides until he caught up with her. "We just need to get new clothes that'll make us stand out less and we'll probably be good. I don't think anyone would hire us looking the way we are."
