"But loving me is hurt you..." I whimper. I wiped her tears away with my thumb becuase it was all I could do to keep myself from crying. Perhaps it wa just my dillusionally sick mind, but all I could see was that girl whipping Aria to death... A scene which replayed over and over. My eyes were dull and filled with fear - - - but also love. A strong, desire to keep Aria safe, a willingness to give my life for her. She was all I had left in life. Everyone - everything - else in the entire world had left me. She was my world now. And that love , that devotion, sparked a light in my eyes like a flame. My desire to keep her safe, to give her no pain, let her feel nothing but happiness... I'd sacrifice everything for that. I stroked her cheek gently. It was my gratest fear that loving my was only hurting her. And I'd rather die -alone- in this forest than cause her pain. I let the bitter thoughts flow through my head before shutting my eyes and forcing them away. I kept holding her close to me. How I was ever lucky enough to meet a girl as wonderful and perfect as her, I'd never know. A smile crept onto my face. I was just glad to be with her. I kissed the top o her forehead. "S-sorry for fretting. I just... Love you... So much. And I don't ever want you to get hurt, ever,"

Aria didn't answer for a long time. She wanted to keep him safe more than anything else. She didn't want him to hurt anymore, because he was always being hurt. It was never his fault. It just... happened. All the time. Nothing she ever did was going to be enough to keep him safe though. With his luck, he was likely to get hit by a bus on their way back to camp. She swallowed hard when that thought crossed her mind. "You've never hurt me," she said at last. She didn't want him to cry, didn't want him to fight himself to appear strong in her eyes. Raising her head to meet his golden eyes, she felt her heart stop. Before she could lose her nerve, she kissed him.

All those thoughts, were just a result of sickness. All I needed was reassurance. And now; there was no doubtin my mind. No doubt in my mind that I would do anything to be with her. I wrapped my arms around her, cradling her head in one of my arms. With my other arm, I wrapped around her waist and pulled her close to me. I kissed her back. There was a moment where I shied away, though. Think of this camping trip. It was supposed to be a date... I felt bad about that. After the thought crosse my mind, the shyness went away and I kissed her more passionately. I'd already made up my mind to take her on another date -a real date- when we got back to camp. I broke the kiss for but a moment to whisper: "I love you, Aria. You're more beautiful than the using sun. I love you," before continuing the kiss again.

Aria didn't say anything as he kissed her again. Words weren't enough and never would be. She felt his hesitation, shared it maybe. Her confused feelings almost melted away when his shyness faded. She'd work her feelings out later. Hands tangling in his hair, she pulled him close, returning his passion.

I kept the kiss for a whole, giving my passion. Then I broke it after a moment or so, turning my head to cough. I kissed her forehead with blue tinged lips. "Sorry, guess I'm still a little sick," I rasped.

The harpies dove at Olivia, but she cut two of them down in an instant. Surprised at her own agility, she turned on the third but before she could she saw something out of the corner of her eye. She whirled around in time to see something that would stick in her mind forever. There was a man, an unspeakably beautiful man, in the hallway turning towards her mother. She stared helplessly as he took her in one hand and threw her out the window. Then the man turned to her and his eyes . . . . his eyes, they were snakes . . .
