Mortal Hospitals

"You okay?" Anatkah asked softly. "That was... well... we... I thought..." She blinked hard and shut her mouth tight.

" told you he would live."

Anatkah didn't answer. She didn't trust her voice. Instead, she just nodded, never taking her eyes off Demetrius' face.

" hate to rush you Demetrius but as soon as you can stand we need to leave."

Anatkah shot him a look. "Demigod or no, he's not going to be able to leave for a good while."

" well than i'm going to hold off the monsters."

"Great Gaia," Anatkah muttered. "I think it's going to be okay in that regard."

" i just saw a minotaur, we won't be able to hide for much more."

"Monsters are supposed to honor the truce," she said hopefully. "Dem's okay.. it's just us that we need to worry about being attacked... which is good."

ooc: what truce

bic: "well minotaurs aren't smart so they are unpredictable."

ooc: have you ever heard of a greek monster in the series or in mythology attacking the wounded while they were out of action?

bic: "Right." Anatkah unsheathed her sword and walked out of the room. "I'll be back when it's dead," she called. "Stay with Dem."

ooc: there is no truce

bic: " ok, be careful."

ooc: my own deductions. it's quite probable actually... they're not all horrible and it makes sense

bic: Anatkah didn't hear him. It wouldn't have made any difference if she had. When it came to monsters she got the job done as fast as possible. Something deep within her pitied them. She didn't care who was watching, they could go on ahead and deal with it already. She found the kid without any trouble. She smiled in as friendly a way as she could manage, feeling disgusted with herself. Minotaur. She could almost smell it. His irises shifted color and as he began to shift into Greek monster form she deftly took a stem back and raised her sword. Before the mortals could so much as panic, she'd severed the head from the body and was already walking back to Demetrius' room. It dissolved into monster dust behind her and for a moment, she wanted to turn around and tell it she was sorry. She pushed open the door instead and stared at the floor in a sort of horrified trance.

" you ok anatkah?"

i put my hand on Demetrius and say " it's ok."

"I feel like a murderer," Anatkah growled, slumping down in a chair in the corner. "The monster didn't stand a chance."

" you aren't a murderer, he would of killed us too."

She shrugged, avoiding his eyes.

" you don't worry, he will just come back."

My heart rate picks up. I was worried. What was wrong with them? Where was I? How did I get here? What happened? Why couldn't I breath?

" its ok Demetrius." I look at him and smile. " its ok, get some rest."

I hold his gaze thinking he needs his rest. I put on a happy face trying to make him see its ok.
