Mortal Hospitals

Anatkah felt his breathing slow and she rested her head on his chest, closing her eyes in troubled contentment. Gradually her heart rate slowed. As long as she was in his arms, she felt safe.

I woke up, looking around dully

I wake up slowly, not noticing Demetrius awake yet.

Anatkah tilted her head slightly, so she could look up into his face. "Hey," she said softly.

" hey, looks like we fell asleep."

"Yeah," she said, settling back into him. "Know if Dem's okay?"

I look at Dem and say " he's awake!"

"Yay," Anatkah murmured sleepily. Then her eyes snapped open. "Dem!" she cried, jumping off Ben and hurrying over to Demetrius. "You're awake!"

I run over to Dem and say " thank gods."

" at least he was awake, want to go back to sleep."

"That's what you call really bad timing," Anatkah said, glaring at the ceiling. "Give us a break up there," she muttered. A small smile played across her lips when she turned to look at him. "Might as well," she said, trying to sound indifferent.

I go back to my seat and say " you want to be back in my arms or no."

In answer, Anatkah went over to him and sat in his lap. Wrapping her arms around him, she nestled her head under his chin. "That clear things up for you?" she said.

" ya, that clears up plenty." I relax, i fall asleep holding her tight.

Anatkah wondered vaguely how much he could be referring to, but at the moment she didn't really care. Instead, she smiled and felt herself drift off.

I almost wake up when Dem moans but i fall back to sleep.

As sleep claimed her, Anatkah got the feeling that something was vaguely wrong, but couldn't summon the will to go investigate.

Feeling that i should have woke up i wake up and look at Dem

ooc: is something wrong?

ooc: i dunno.

I stay awake waiting to make sure nothing is wrong.

ooc: brb in 10

bic: I figure nothing is wrong and look down at Anatkah. I smile and fall back asleep.
