I barely noticed the new person walk in before I picked out one spider ready to pounce, and charged, my sickle raised.
Fang joined me, and we charged together, in a run we'd practised many times.
Just before we we're about to reach the target, a faked a lunge, forcing the spider to try and dodge, while I sidestepped, and swivelled around to its right flank, while Fang leaped up claws raised, and landing onto its top, digging its claws deep into its flesh.
I took advantage of its lack of defense for that brief moment, and sliced my sickle alongside its spained body, bringing my blade out of the flesh to watch as it disappeared into greeny dust.
I allowed myself a brief celebration.
"One down, about 20 or whatever more to- argh!" I was cut off with a rearing pain to my left thight, as I felt myself being slung off my feet, to collapse on the ground about 10 feet away.
My head had smashed into the trunk of a large tree, and I felt myself become dizzy for a few seconds, hearing Fangs faint barking in the distance.
"Uuuurgh..." I groaned.

I had been staying back and watching for a while, but now that Dorian was in trouble I decided I'd step in and help. I drew the plain hilt of a sword that I kept slung around my wait and held it out by my side. My golden power ring glowed, and wind currents pulled themselves into the shape of a sword. I smiled mischevously, this was going to be fun. I lunged at the first spider, swinging my sword in a devastating arc that split its body in two. I then used the momentum of that swing to twirl around and slice another, severing three of its legs at the joint and cutting into its brain. I then held for a nano second, before I was off again. Four more fell before my blade before I reached the ones surrounding Dorian. After a few brief seconds of spinning and slashing, the creatures were dead. There were still others, but none around Dorian,

I kept hacking and slashing at the last of the spiders. Every few seconds i would stop and the spiders would stand around me, I waited for them to keep attacking, and when they did I jumpped into the air and onto their backs and slashed at the back of their heads cutting the heads off. I jumpped back onto the ground.

I jumpped onto the last spiders back and stabbed it untill it turned to dust, just before it disinergated, though I jumpped off, landing on my knees, breathing hard.
