OOC: Absolutely, his sword is free for the taking. I'm not quite actively trying to kill Jack, but I'm fine if he does die. As to the snake phobia, I realized I'd put that as one of his flaws, so I figured I'd give a try with it.

I closed my eyes and tried to focus. 'If Dad could get his mom back from the Underworld, I can kill a one snake, even if it's a freaking big one. And Chandon doesn't have a problem with it, and he'd rather be sleeping through this.' I thought. Drawing my dagger, opened my eyes and charged at the snake, screaming a battlecry of "DIONYSUS!!!" as I ran.
I stabbed the monster in the nose, and suddenly realized I hadn't thought out my plan beyond that. "Backup!" I shouted.

OOC: So I'm standing in front of the monster's mouth

I lend my dagger to Jack and, with his sword, strike with force and caution to the head of the snake. I think it'll hurt a lot.

OOC: He could just take his weapon back, you know. The monster is pretty solid.

Finbar walked over to the shore of the lake, seeing the masts of a ship even from the cabin courtyard. Interested on the goings-on, he watched from a distance as several demigods in the trireme fought against what seemed to be a sea serpent. He started to wonder how such a massive beast could stray far from the ocean and find its way from Euros Creek and into the lake. He shrugged, supposing that anything could happen nowadays. He didn't know whether to help or not yet, so he sat on the soft ground, enjoying the show.

The boat gets heavy while the snake gets closer. I look back and see Finbar. "If I were you, I would take a weapon."

"Don't worry about me." He yelled to the guy on the boat. "I'm here on the safe shore. You guys are on the boat. Anyway..." He continued as he summoned a condensed boulder out of the ground, four feet in diameter, beside him. "I'll be fine just here. Tell me if you need any help." He checked to make sure that his drum sticks were in the inside pocket of his hoodie just in case, as well.

"Throwing that rock at something might be a good start." I shouted to Finbar, giving him a big grin innocent grin. Violet's blast of wind had pushed me to the end of the ship opposite the monster. I asked for my sword, and Chandon threw it to me, as I tossed him his dagger. "So, shall we finish this monster?" I asked my fellow crew-members, as I readied my sword and dagger.

OOC: So, when we kill this thing, what will it drop as the trophy item? Or are you guys ready to kill it? I'm thinking a big charge at it.

OOC: You can decide; it's up to you. I'm fine with whatever lol.

Finbar shrugged. "I thought you guys were capable of doing it yourselves." He stood up and made the boulder levitate. Flicking his wrist forward, the giant stone launched toward the sea serpent, aiming near its body just above the surface of the water. He took out his drum sticks and let them change into his large throwing axis. Spinning them in his hands, he examined the damage that was done.

OOC: I'm quite tired of this rp, so let's go.

I take one last skeptical look toward Finbar and hold the sword even stronger. "Let's finish it. I'm going to do something cool with it's housing. Or not." I think about staring at the snake, trying to make it scared or something, but fortunately I always watch to Discovery Channel's creepy documentarys. "So who are going to strike the first blow? I think it's already quite hurt ..."

OOC: I'm assuming the monster was very near death.
"I'll go." I threw Chandon's dagger at the monster. I expected it to bounce off the monster and back to me like a boomerang, but almost as soon as the blade struck the serpent, the monster exploded into a massive cloud of gold dust, making us look like we'd been through a sparkle bomb.

"Umm, sure." I said, as I swapped his dagger for my sword. It looked like it was going to need a major cleaning. Though, if the Halloween party had been that evening, I'd have been set costume wise. I picked up a tooth too. "So, dig in people."

Finbar watched in the background as the serpent explode into a flurry of golden particles. He smiled satisfactorily and changed his weapons back into drumsticks. He wasn't really interested with the spoils of war nor socializing with the remaining people on the boat, so he put his hands behind his head, started whistling, and sauntered off to some other part of camp.
