"DEMETRIUS!" Anatkah screamed as he collapsed. She crawled over to where he lay, curled in a little ball. Gods, he was so still. "Oh gods," she whispered, breathing quickening. "Please don't be dead. Please don't be dead. Wake up. Wake up!" She sobbed aloud and pressed a hand to her mouth. He... He was dead. "Sweet Goddess," Anatkah moaned, choking on her own tears. "Demetrius... Demetrius... Demetrius..." Sobbing violently, she tried to control herself, but couldn't. Aria was dead. Demetrius was dead. And where was Ben? Thinking of him made her sob even harder. She was alone now - just like she had been when Erin had died. It was too much. What was so wrong with her that he felt like he had nothing more to live for? It was all her fault.

Anatkah didn't notice his abrupt return to life. Still sobbing, she tried to stand, failed, and fell down again. Goddess, what was wrong with her?

Unconscious, I coughed up a wee bit of blood and gasped.
OOC lulz when you said: R. I. P. Demetrius I totally started flipping out. I was like : WHAT?!

Anatkah shook herself as she heard a weak cough. "Dem?" she said weakly. He gasped and she almost screamed with shock and relief. He was still unconscious, so she moved him into the emergency rescue position and waited for him to come around.

BIC soon enough, the pain of the infections woke me up. I looked around weakly. "Huh?" I croaked, disoriented.

"Exactly," Anatkah said. "Look here, you're totally infected from a ton of stuff that wasn't treated but should have been - so we're going to the infirmary - got it?"

"Damn right I was crying," Anatkah said, accidentally snapping because she was so stressed out. "It doesn't matter though - things're okay now. Let's just get you to the infirmary."

I was too exhausted to keep asking questions. I moaned softly as I sat up. Then I hugged her. "Whatever happened, I'm sorry," then I attempted to stand. And... It was failing.

Anatkah was still shaky, but that didn't matter. She got up and picked Demetrius. Despite him being years older than she was, he wasn't that heavy. "Onward," she said dramatically, ignoring the apology. It wasn't important. It wasn't his fault.

I grit my teeth and limped forward weakly. I left for the thingy.
