Anatkah, for the moment, hardly noticed the sudden loss of Morphine trickling into her system; she was focused too much on Demetrius. "Aw Dem, you shouldn't have," she said, blushing slightly.

"Just wait. You'll love it!" I grin. "Do you want it now? Or back at camp?

"At Camp!" Anatkah said instantly. She didn't want to stay any longer than she'd have to... and she now had means of contacting the nurse once she was gone.

I took off my jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders. "Sorry, you looked a little cold. Shall we go? Do you want me to push you?"

"I can wheel myself," Anatkah said with a shrug. "It's okay, and thanks." She had been cold and the effects of morphine withdrawal were starting to sink in.

"Are you okay? You're shaking!" I cried.

"I'm fine!" Anatkah insisted. "C'mon... let's just... go."

"Anatkah! No, something's wrong!"

"Nothing's wrong!" Anatkah insisted, voice rising slightly.

"You look Luke your suffering withdrawal!! Something's wring!

"Nothing's wrong!" Anatkah said shrilly. She shivered as she tried to push past him into the hallway. "Stop worrying," she begged him, a hint of desperation entering her voice.

I sighed, hearing her desperation. "Ohkay. I will. You know I only worry ecause I love you right?"

"Yeah, I know," Anatkah said, hanging her head. "Can we just go?" she said softly.

"Yeah," I say and stopped talking. I walked ahead of her, hands shoved in my pockets. I walked downstairs and hailed a taxi

Anatkah took the elevator to the lower level because her wheelchair couldn't handle stairs. "Wait up!" she called breathlessly as she wheeled after him. "I'm not that fast!"

I opened the door Of the taxi. "Need me to help you in?" I asked, emotionlessly

Anatkah ducked her head, shivers coming back. "Yes," she whispered, angry at herself for her helplessness.

I picked her up and put her in the car, wrapping the jacket around her tighter. I put her wheelchair in the back and sat next to her, closing the door. I gave him the adress and stared out the window, silent. The cab drove away.

The doctor shows them into a room "Can you tell me what happened?" The doctor see's the arm "Never mind this girl needs urgent attention!" hee calls in other doctors who start to operate on her handless arm "We won't be able to repair the hand, she'll need to pay to get a prosthetic one to be fitted" They look at her blood pressure "She needs blood now!" A nurse runs out "A neg." The doctor shouts after her "Now tell us what happened" He says to the boy
