Mortal Hospitals

The nurse runs in with lots of blood bags and begins the transfusion. "She'll need to stay here for a while" She tells the doctor.

The doctor looks back to the boy "What sort of camp do you go to!? Where they let psychotic children chop body parts off! And allow un-secure electric wires sit next to a metal fence?" He listens to the boy about the prosthetic "Does this girl have any family we could contact? They may be able to pay instead, but we'll get one through" He sends another nurse off to find somebody to fit a prosthetic.

ooc: The only sane mortal reason for the electrocution is the one given. And Xena has no family except her mother.

The doctor shook his head "Are you sure you will be able to pay for it all?" Who was this kid? Did he have all the money?

The prosthetic fitter came in and worked on fitting the hand.

The nurse looked at the boy "She may suffer post-traumatic stress and/or depression when she recovers. If she fully recovers she will be a very lucky person."

The doctor looks at the ring "Thank you" He takes the ring and checks off payment on the form.

The hand is fully in place.

I wake up "What are you all doing!"

I start to cry "How would you get the feeling back"

The doctor sympathises for the little girl "If you want your real hand on we can put it on"

My eyes widen "They can do that?" I ask shocked

The doctor assumes she is talking to him "Forget the prosthetic put her hand back on" He fishes out the ring and hands it back to the boy "We'll send the rest of the bill to the camp"

"No, charge it to me Xena, Cabin 27, at said camp"

The attendant looks at the girl (De) "May I help you?"

I smile "That will show her"

The doctors finish putting her hand on "WOuld you like to stay for observation or just go back to camp?"

"Camp" I say getting out the bed and walking through to the waiting room and see the girl who helped me. I smile at her and wave
