Eric's Quest

Ophelia spoke up. "We got this. Shoot, my ex boyfriend ate squid for lunch. granted, they were never quite this size, but still, they're quite tasty. So what that it's ten times bigger than us? so what that it thinks it's big and bad just because it doesn't have a single bone to break? I say, we go there, and remind it, just WHERE EXACTLY ON THE FOOD CHAIN IT BELONGS!!" and with that, the daughter of the River of Tears mounted her pegasi, seeming for a moment to carry a shred of the glory of the Heroism of Ancient Greece. She drew one of her Fallen Raven Blades, The Stygian Iron blade glinting with the light of the morning sun. "WHO'S WITH ME??"

((IDC if I have to kill her off, I'm going to make sure she leaves an impact on the team. *nods* and yes, the white text in the RP is linkage.))

I smiled slightly at Ophelia's speech, but seeing Eric copy Ophelia.... It faded fast into a slight scowl at Eric. We'd make sushi out of the Kraken, but I'd make ribbons out of Eric after beating the crap out of him -- if he didn't get hurt by the Kraken, I'd hurt him, plain and simple -- the Fates, as well as I, would make sure of that.

((Ok, might I suggest Turn Ordering from here on out? I'm about to get out of school soon, and getting my own place, but till then my activity will be iffy. it will slow down the quest, but at least I won't have to worry about missing half the fight. sorry.))

ooc: lets just make them fly off and then time skip to the Bermuda triangle.

"Well, are we gonna go now or not?" I was sort of impatient with all the dramatic posing with such a big fight looming over us; we should go and kill the thing fast, before it does any major damage or anything. I wondered briefly how big the kraken would be -- the size of the Empire State Building, maybe less?

ooc: Turn order for fighting sounds good.

I sheathed my sword" lets get a move on, everyone ready" I said and got my pegasus to slowly fly up into the air, to give the others time to follow.

ooc: just to make sure of it, does turn order mean quicker?.

ooc: It depends on how active everybody is, Eric. If one person is away for a few days and it's their turn to post, we could be stuck for a bit. However, a posting order would be more fair so we all can get in on the action without needing to read every previous post to decide what to post/coming on to find the fighting done after a few posts (as Theseus said).

"S'feeling fine," I told Katy, patting it. It didn't hurt much if I touched it, but if I moved it a bit, it would still hurt a bit; the nectar was probably doing its job, but I wouldn't risk another few sips for a bit.

I made my pegasus rise higher into the air"lets go!" I told the others, in an upbeat tone of course..

ooc:ok, well, you control the kraken and from what i am making out of it isn't it fighting until Ophelias last resort to lunge down it's throat to weaken it then Eric finishes it off?

arek hopped on the pegasus.

ooc: if we do that turn order thing, im going to have to drop. i have a couple days where i feel like not getting on, or, since we only have one computer now, i cant get on. if you want to do that, ill try to keep up, but its not likely that ill be able to keep up right.

ooc:time skip now?

ooc: Sure, Eric... Who were you talking to about the kraken?

I took Katy's hand and got onto the pegasus's back behind her, readjusting the harpoon rope on my shoulder; it was probably going to leave a nasty welt or something by the time we get back to camp, assuming I didn't lose it.

We had started to approach the Bermuda Triangle"everybody got their pearl?" I asked the rest of them, I took my pearl out and it made a faint blue glow the closer we got to the Bermuda Triangle.

ooc: I forgot, but I am guessing you and Theseus.

Ophelia watched, gazing at the water with a level eye. besides the usual waves and other riff raff, things seemed pretty- Then ophelia noticed the tentacle, slowly moving like a snake, moving to Arek's foot. "Gods!" she shouted, stabbing the tentacle with one of her blades. The tentacle smoked at the touch of the Stygian Iron, and jerked away, almost knocking the blade from her hand. As though it learned quickly that stealth failed, the air was suddenly full of tentacles that each moved and attacked like it had a mind of it's own, trying to grab people's weapons, their pegasi's wings.
