Jasmine wandered in. She sat by the lake, took off her converses and let the water wet her toes. She glanced around in search of some known, but found nobody. Who she was trying to fool?

Maeve absent-mindedly threw an imperfect stone over her shoulder. she turned in that direction to find a new one and saw that the stone she threw was headed for some girl's (Jasmine's) back. "Hey, look out!" she called.

An egg-cracking noise was heard when the stone hit Jasmine's head. She fell flat on her face, but recovered quickly enough to throw the stone back to the attacker.

The stone hit Maeve on the cheek. She swore under her breath, but managed to keep her temper. "Sorry about that. I wasn't looking at where I threw that stone. You okay?"

"Now I am. That's the tit for tat thought." Jasmine replied in an unfriendly tone. It's impossible to throw something at someone without noticing, unless if you have the Huntington sydrome. "How about you?" She continued, proving her manners.

"I'm fine. Thanks for asking." Maeve said in an eaqully cold tone. It wasn't like she meant to throw it. You shouldn't have apologized said the voice inside her head. She deserved it. Maeve twitched her head slightly. Her eyelid flickered.

Jasmine tilted her head at the girl. Insane people, she was always surrounded by them. "...What's your name?" She asked, trying to take her away from the trance.

Hiro responded "Name's Hiro. I know how you feel about the whole dying thing. I died before, and I was supposed to stay that way, but Syn's mom had just enough money to set for me to have a strange little surgery. I went from a human body to the body of an eagle like this. I got shot myself as well. You have something going for you though, that little deal there. Keeping you as a human, instead of an animal."

Jasmine wrinkled her nose slightly. Maeve spoke in a quite sharp way, or maybe it was just Jas' extremely sensitive mind playing tricks on her. "I'm Jasmine, but I go by Jas or Jassy or whatever. Nice to meet you." She offered her hand, a little awkward.

Maeve tensed slighty when she saw Jasmine's hand go out, but relaxed when she realized that Jasmine wanted to shake. She complied. "Likewise. So who's your godly parent?" she asked, making small talk.
