"If you couldn't realize because of my ridiculous name, Persephone." Jasmine's speech was always so fun. She was just quite anxious for the gods to throw a lightening over her. "And you?"

"Melinoe, goddess of ghosts. I'm all sorts of freaky, name included." Maeve said in a bitter tone.

Jasmine almost smirked. She wasn't in a good mood, but she never was. That was her personality and no tragedy could change it. "They both are goddesses of dead, so I'm suposed to understand your feelings."

Maeve raised an eyebrow. "Well can you?" Of course she can't. No one can. No one but me can. said the voice in her head.

Jasmine sighed, hugging her knees. "I think so. I've got a vocation for psychology. But if you don't want to tell me your problems, I don't care." Whoa. Jas was being dangerously extrovert.

Maeve raised her other eyebrow so the gesture was one of surprise rather than disbelief. this girl was serious. "Well . . . okay. I think I've got a few more "problems" than the norm, but if you can help me . . ." Maeve shrugged. "Be my guest." She sighed. "There's this person inside my head."

Jasmine raised her dark eyebrows, anxious for listening. Schizophrenia? She heard about that, but never met a person with that problem. She wouldn't run scared like her stupid step siblings or normal people would.

Shut up. Shut up. You don't need her, shut up. The voice said over and over as Maeve spoke. "Her name is Lilith, and I really don't know if she exsists or not. She . . . I don't know, I think she controls me sometimes. My old therapist said I had split personality disorder . . . but then I . . . I burnt down her office, so I didn't find out how that could be treated, or even if that was a correct diagnosis." For the first time since her parents died, Maeve was crying. She didn't realize it, though, and she sat there, frowning, as tears ran down her face.

Jasmine wanted to ignore Maeve, but she began to cry along with her. She always cried along with people and didn't consider that a flaw. Their both lifes were quite chaotic, and Jasmine never hurt anyone.

If Maeve was able to tell her troubles to an unknown, so was Jasmine. "I loved only two people in my whole life, and now they both dead. One of them is just figuratively dead. That's it."

Maeve was wary of Jasmine, but she could respect someone's losses. "i know how that can feel." she said.

Maeve snarled. Of course, she tries to sympathize with someone and this is what she gets. "How can you know that?!"

Jasmine opened her mouth as if to say something, but all that escaped was a tense moan. She didn't know the answer. She tried to talk to many people and nobody could understand. Maeve didn't seem to be special.

I place the balls on different branches then take twenty steps back. I aim the gun and shoot all five down. All that remains of the balls is some string.
