"I'm just deaf, I need no rest." At least I wouldn't have to hear any yelling or screaming from... Not naming names. But now, I'll have to be extra careful for any lurking monsters.

I forced a pathetic smile. Why was I smiling? "I can't hear you." Probably forgot I was deaf! "I can hear a faint sound of your voice here and there when you speak. Maybe..." I trailed off. No, no hope to save my ear.

After about an hour, I sprint in the room where Noonian lay, my dagger clutched in my hand which was pretty stupid, which caused my hand to drip with blood. I ignored the pain. I was hyperventilating, and a fresh wound ran down, from my left eyebrow, that ended by my cheek bone at the most. Above and below my left eye were claw marks that were layered with dried blood. I could only see with my right eye, for my left eye was covered in blood so much, you couldn't make it out. Sweating, I managed to say, "Leaving this room was a bad idea," as I try to wrinkle my forehead, but feel immense pain in my temple, and where my wounds were. I sunk to my knees, dropped my bloody dagger, a gift from my dad, and put my bloody right hand up to my temple.

I try to pick up my dagger, but the contact between the metal. and my wound, made me drop it again, sending it clattering on the floor. "A hellhound... Visions of... Of you.... And Nix... No. No, no." I murmured to myself. I went on and on, saying things that shouldn't make sense about the past hour.I scooted myself to a wall, and leaned against it. In the process I left a trail of blood.

I wiggle my way out of his grip, and broke free of the room in silence. Got to find those hellhounds, find my sword, then leave this place with Noonian, Nix, and Hanson. Where did Oakland go? This place, was infested with hellhounds. What I saw earlier, was terrible. Got to burn down that room...

I decided to go wash myself off. I burst open through the door to the women's restroom, and sloppily turn on the faucet. I splashed cold water on my face, cleaning my hand in the process. "Agh!" I screamed. It stung, but now I was beginning to see the damage. Darn, I forgot my dagger!

I sighed in relief for now I could sort of see in my left eye, and that I wouldn't go half blind. A wound ran from my left eye down to my cheekbone, and a a gash in my hand, that traced the lines. I sprinted out, looking for room 195H. Too floors down. I hopped into an elevator.

When I reached the desired floor, I approached room 195H, an employees only room. I put my hand on the knob, turned it. I take a breath in, and out. By now the hellhounds would flee to another place, now that I've discovered their location, right? I barged in. A hellhound lunged at me, like it was waiting for me, knowing that I'd come. I let out a scream, as I felt the hellhound take a good bite on the side of my lower torso. Instictiveky I held, it, backing away.

And there I saw it. Reever. In the corner, covered in monster dust. All I had left was my shield. I activated it, and protected my torso.
