Hunting for monsters, getting some practice, y'know

"wow you could make a book out of this".i said as i stand up and feed the pegasus some grass

Nick nodded. "I remember Hermes giving me a finger-box - long story."

"finger box???"i ask realy confused

"Well, I opened my present box, and a finger popped out. It was apparently for Hecate." He shrugged.

bic:"well now im gunna have night mares"i say jokingly

Nick laughed, smiling.

"Nick, Austin, dinner," a loud voice called.

"Sweet"i say as i sprint for the house

Nick raced to the house, with Austin. He went inside, sitting at the table, covered with delicious-smelling food. Then, he realized, he should probably clean up first.

He did so.

Pretty soon, he came down, without his spike, and with new, regular mortal clothes. They were waiting.

After so much, they ate.

"mr.hoover this food is awsome"i say as i bite into a piece of chiken

"Thanks, Austin," Phil said, smiling, after taking a bite of mashed potatoes.

"I wish you could cook for our camp," Nick muttered. He took a bite of cranberry sauce. "This is really good, Dad."

"Thanks, Nick." A timer went off. "That's the pumpkin pie!"

When he left, Jerry said, "so, Austin, who is your god parent?"

"ares-god of war and conflict."i said as i bite into a steak

"You seem peaceful - you do not seem like an Ares kid."

" well thats because im not angry or have any reason to get angry ask nick what i did to the chimera when i got angry " i say sarcasticly

After a bite of pasta, Nick said, "he cut a head off with barely any problem."

Phil came back with the pie. "Anyone ready for dessert yet?"

"i am"i say quikly

Phil cut a piece of pie for Austin. "Coolwhip?"

"no thanks"i say as i start to dig in

Phil smiled.

Nick ate the pie, too, but wasn't exactly fond of pumpkin pie. He pushed it away. "Any pumpkin roll?" he asked.

"That'll be done, soon."

"hey umm what time is it"i ask nervously

Phil checked his watch. "Only 10 AM."

oh okay" i say as i continue to eat"hey did you here something"i ask.i got up and looked ut the window and yelled"runn !!!! the minotour is coming"

Nick quickly got up. He glared through the window. "I don't think that's a Minotaur."

A metal dragon landed near the house. It glared into the window.

Nick went outside with his sword. "Claws?'

The dragon nodded, looking down at Nick. A boy, about Nick and Austin's age, climbed off the top. It struck Nick, swiftly, that the boy did not look the same. The once skinny, pale, short-haired, annoying son of Hephaestus now had long, brown hair, contacts, and braces. He was taller than Nick now, and a bit better built.

"Hey, Nick," the boy said.

"...Mason?" Nick said, in awe. He had not seen Mason in a while.

He nodded. Mason smiled. "Nice to see you again."

Nick and Mason shook hands, great respect for each other.

"you guys know eachother?"i ask bewilderd

"Well, of course. I'm a son of Hephaestus, hence the metal dragon. I used to go in Camp Half-Blood, but I left because of my mother being sick. She's a bit better now, but not much. She told me to visit you, since she heard Phil was in town, and that means Nick would be here. Austin - my brother - is visiting his old friends, and I don't know about Jill." Mason scratched the back of his head. "So, who are you?"

"Mason, this is Austin - same name as your brother," Nick interrupted.

"I can hear that. What are you a son of?"

"He's a kid of Ares," Nick interrupted again.

"that would be me"i say as i step forword and resheath my sword
